Best College for a memorable College Life

Since, my home is near the college, I prefer this college more than other colleges. Even, the college is spacious and have a big 3 grounds, to cherish the college life more than other colleges. I got admitted to this college by giving WBJEE and securing a rank of 20k. The seniors of this college are really helpful and will help you to grow up in every possible ways they can. The college conducts various events to grow up and indulge in various ways. Specially amidst the pandemic, the college conducted various seminars, competition to indulge more with college life.

I'm currently pursuing Computer Science and Engineering. I chose this course since it gives the maximum placement offers from this department with and the capacity of students are 120. The section is divided into 2 parts. The ratio of faculty: student is 1:9. The teachers are friendly here, they do their best to make the students understand, they are available even at 11 at night to clear up your doubts. The college conducts 2 short tests and a semester exam after 6 months.

Various paid internships come to the college for summer & winter training and internships, and gives various project offers. But students overall do the internships from platforms like internshala and other social platforms.

The placement in GNIT are average. Since, JIS Group organizes a pool campus selection, where you need to be very lucky to get placement from the company. The campus placements are eligible in the college from the 4th Year. Before that, internships are given from the college, which trains the students. Capgemini is the major recruiter in this college, where the major students from CSE and ECE departments gets placed with the average package of 2.5-3L. Even the companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, HCL, Deloitte and small startup companies come to take placement from this college, but the package is very low. Off placement is recommended as a student. Even various marketing companies like Byjus come with the highest package of 13L. Amazon used to come earlier but it stopped after 2018. The percentage of students getting placement is 87%.

The overall fees for B.tech is approx. 4.5-5 lakh. On the time of admission you need to pay 80k, after that each semester need to paid 45-50k per sem. Yes, various scholarships and financial aids are available on the official college website.

The student will face the best college life in GNIT. It conducts 1 cultural fest & 1 tech fest every year with lots of crowds and enjoyment. Cultural fest is conducted on the month of January and after 1 month technical fests are conducted. Huge books and journals are available in GNIT, various clubs are also found on GNIT, like media team, coding club, robotics clubs etc. And it has a inner gym and cafeteria. Also GNIT has a good place at sports, like cricket, football and basketball.
