Remarks

IMT Nagpur has a lush green campus across 27 acres on a lush green environment and its brand image, placement, and the atmosphere is great, along with it is a student-driven campus where MBA aspirants can learn from practical learning. I have seen this on MBA universe, and also compare it to student khabri.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good and IMT is famous for marketing, Faculty holders are PhD holders and they are highly talented in their field. The course curriculum is nice and needs to be attentive in the class.

Course Fees: INR 605000 per year

Internships Opportunities

100% summer internship is the motto of IMT for their first-year students and they successfully achieve this milestone almost every year. Depend on their work the company offers a stipend and a few provide a performance-based stipend in their internship tenure.

Placement Experience

Placements are good and in the covid scenario almost all the seniors got placed and there are around 90 companies visited our campus and the highest package is around 18 lakh this year and so many good companies came to the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is some financial benefit which you can get when you performed well in your academics and the fees are also quite good of IMT and the return of investment is good to the cost to study. Everything is good overall.

Campus Life

There are so many things that happen in IMT. There are so many clubs, forums, committees, ventures which all are driven by the students, and section wars, melange, Ranbhoomi, Navratri, etc are organized in IMT.

Hostel Facilities

The meal is provided in the mess around 4 times a day and there is a canteen where you get all kinds of food at any time of the day, rooms are good and all your necessities is taken care of and the food quality is good.

Interview Experience

3.5

I got all the support from my coaching centre to prepare for GDPI after qualifying for the written exam, and we need to clear the written exam first, by clearing its cutoff and the virtual GDPI is also a good process.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
