Remarks

Pros of joining IMT-N is the course curriculum and faculty irrespective the course curriculum is copied pasted from IIM's it truly adds value and after the end of two years academic and professional life will feel or notice the addition of new skill. The second faculty is class apart when compared with other tier 3 or tier 2 colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most professors are PhD holder or graduate from elite universities like Havard universities, FMS-DU, IIT Madras and IIM A, B and extensive teaching and industry experience. The Student-Faculty ratio is good.

Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I can't share exact details but it was a startup company. Due to corona stipend was very less for all students. We were introduced to no live projects by placement committees in our college. Thus this year we faced problems for internship in the finance department.

Placement Experience

Placements in our college are decent. It's just that you need to decide in which field you want to go and accordingly prepare for it. MNC's like Deloitte, Amazon, Essar, TCS visit the campus for placements but it depends on how well you prepare for it. The placement team do work hard which shows that placement quality is improving in the coming years.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is good as compared to other B Schools. I didn't get any scholarship and got a decent internship from college. Due to this pandemic, this year internships were not on the mark. But college is good.

Campus Life

In academic college is overall good. In terms of sports, college is good. IMT is a student-driven campus. There are no committees, clubs run by the students in IMT Nagpur. Classrooms are overall good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very good. The menu is super awesome. We used to get four times a meal in a day. That was super tasty. All food quality was up to a great mark. Thus everything is good in the hostel in IMT Nagpur.

Hostel Fee: INR 7000 per year

Interview Experience

3.5

The interview was overall good. I have been asked various questions in an interview from all areas. I have read all current affairs and daily newspaper to prepare for the interview. Major learnings from graduation were also asked in an interview.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Placement Experience:

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
