After joining IMT NAGPUR I can say that it's much more than placements. IMT NAGPUR grooms you in such a way that you will be a different person altogether when you will leave the campus. It's a student-driven campus, from placement committee to the cooperative store, everything is totally run by the student managers. The committee's you will be joining will give you hands-on experience of how the corporate world works. The average package -7.4 LPA.

Faculty members are very cooperative and understanding with a great experience. The teaching faculty includes some of the finest professors with a high level of experience in the teaching industry. The faculty members themselves have worked in different sectors of industries, so experience in the industry comes in handy. The course curriculum requires the students to upgrade their levels as well as makes them ready for the industry with relevant and useful structure and components of the course.

The institute has released its summer Internship placement report for the batch 2019-21 and 100% of students were provided internship opportunities and around 45% of the new recruiters participated in the process.

During IMT, Nagpur placements 2020, the highest salary offered was Rs 16 LPA, while the average salary package stood at Rs 7.94 LPA. A total number of 90 companies participated in the placement process.

Sector-wise offers BFSI, IT/ITES, Service, Hospitality, E-Commerce, Consulting, Power, Manufacturing, FMCG & Retail others.

In my opinion, hostel facilities provided at IMT Nagpur are one of the best I have seen, double sharing spacious rooms are provided with a bed, a study table and chair and a large enough almirah to keep all your stuff. College also provides free laundry service for the students, also the mess food provided here is good enough and there is a proper mess committee of students who keeps a watch on the food quality and takes feedback from students. Apart from all this, there are many student ventures already operating within the campus itself (kudos to their work ethics and continuous efforts) that take care of all your other needs and wants and make your life at campus quite chill and smooth. And yes as many would describe it as a “Resort” it really is. Hence, the campus is self-sustainable in a way. The campus does not provide air-conditioned hostels, but trust me you won’t be needing that much.

They are normal one-seater and 2 seater rooms. One seater is limited and available on a first-come basis during the first year and on a lottery basis in the second year. Common bathrooms and a hot water facility are available. Room Cleaning facility is available and student-driven laundry services are also available at nominal rates. Mess food is good and many other options are there like college canteen, student-driven shops and small outlets outside the college.

IMT Nagpur offers an AICTE approved two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management programme. It has three different PGDM programmes, including PGDM, PGDM (Finance) and PGDM (Marketing). This programme includes 22 core subjects, 14 electives and 1 summer internship project. Also, PGDM (Finance) and PGDM (Marketing) are available in dual specialisations across various areas of Management. IMT Nagpur admission to all these programmes are entrance-based and depends upon candidates’ performance in CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT exams, followed by Group Exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI). Candidates will be evaluated during the GE & PI round based on certain parameters.
