Remarks

The main reason to choose this college over others was higher placement with a good salary package. The admission Process includes an entrance exam followed by interview. Good things : Outstanding campus, good alumni with good curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview

The program at IMT Nagpur are sought after as the paramount PGDM program in Nagpur which allows students to pursue PGDM in general management with specialization in any area such as marketing, finance, Business Analytics, human resources, operations and IT.

Course Fees: INR 12 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes the campus provides everyone with an internship in major big companies with decent stipends. Major projects that they gets depends on the company and the profile they offer one . The internship is of 2 months starting from April to June .

Placement Experience

The main attraction of one campus is its placement and IMT Nagpur is no different. The campus provides good enough placement for almost all the students with decent salary packages which will make worth spending 12 lacs as fee for the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The EWS scholarship category selected candidates may receive a 100% refund on academic fees. The refund is applicable post candidates joins on campus. The candidates are eligible for merit scholarship for 90+ percentile with 60% fee refund.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the campus is as good as it can be with full of greenery and red brick buildings along with 9 various sports areas. There are so many clubs which is student-driven which gives one the hands on experience on how to drive a club or small business.

Hostel Facilities

IMT Nagpur is a residential campus that provide accommodation for all students who join the college. There are no PG near by as the campus is located 35km away from the main city. The food from the mess is of average nothing that special but manageable.

Interview Experience

There were no GD for the selection mostly because of covid 19 i guess but there was personal interviews in which they ask about basics questions about yourself and very recent news related to your subject of interest.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

The placements opportunities are very good. mostly the whole batch gets placed. big companies like google and Microsoft come to campus and recruit a good number of students. it has a good average package in summers about 160000 per month.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
