I tok SET 3 which is entrance exam. I got 151 rank in the exam. The reason for opting this college was Low fee structure as well as higher educated techers. The infrastructure provided by this college is the best in the area.

The course emphasis on research and development, Provides a better practical knowledge. Well equipped labs with up to date infrastructure and knowledge guides. The subjects are being tough considering the pattern of competitive exams. Apart from study our college also organizes Extracurricular activities.

College does not provide internship. Usually they give recommendations which are helpful get internship outside the college.

Almost 70% of students get on campus placements. Many students are also sent for interviews outside the college. The major companies who visit SLIET are Amazon, Tata Consultancy services , HP, SoftwareAG, Godrej. Average package offered by companies is 4-5.50 laks per anum.

Fee structure is very feasible. 26135 INR /semester for B.E(Including hostel and student insurance) 18135 INR /semester for M.Tech and 11135 INR / semester for Integrated certificate diploma. Students residing in hostel have to pay an extra amount of 2350 INR/ month as Mess charges.

There are many scholarships for various categories of students. The loan can be easily availed from CBoI Branch inside the campus itself. Students from other states also receive scholarships from the state government of their respective state.

The college supports the gender equality. The gender ratio in each class is 60:40(approx). The girls are provided with special hostel with full security. College is also encouraging students to take part in politics by organising political seminars and also providing funds to students to take part in seminars outside the state.

Hostel facilities are really good. all the hostels are fully wifi covered. Senior hostels are given LAN connectivity in every single room. There is a tv room sports room. Single bedroom is given to the senior most students. Hostels are clean and hygienic.

All the seniors are nice and helpful. They help the others whenever it is required. They also provide guidlines to juniors regarding placements and training. College has a amuni association which is in regular touch with all the alumni of the college.

Exams are conducted thrice a semester. Two Minor exams and 1 major exams. Both the minor exams contributes the 30% of overall grade and the major exams contributes the 50% of overall grade and the rest of 20% is covered by Quiz(10%) and assignments(10%).

The faculty is well educated as well as well experienced in their specific fields. The lower qualification for the job in above specified college is M.Tech. Most of the techers are professor rank with at least 3 years of experience. Most of them have doctorate in their specific fields.
