Student's Review on IMI Bhubaneshwar

IMI Bhubaneshwar is situated in the outskirts of Bhubaneswar city and it was started in 2011. IMI Bhubaneshwar accepts different entrance exams that are CAT, XAT, CMAT and GMAT. It offers full-time PGDM full time, PGDM part-time, PGCPM, FPM and it is a decent college to pursue a career. Usually, students give CMAT to take admission in the college. The college has a batch size of 180-200 students for PGDM students. The college offers average placement to the students. The only bad aspect I found is the placement which is average compare to big brands. Otherwise, the infrastructure is very beautiful, faculties are very supportive.

It's a tri semester course per year for consecutively 2 years. For the first years, there is a combination of all subjects and in the second year, there is a specialisation of subjects that students want to make their career. The classroom lectures and daily study are enough for the preparation of exams. The faculties in the college are very supportive and they have very good. They always ready to help students.

The college provides different Internship opportunity, live projects which are useful for the final placement. The company provides Internship opportunity in the field of Marketing, Finance, HR and operations.

Frome second-year students are eligible for the placement. There are a number of companies that visit the college every year for the placement process. They offer different profile and 99% of students get placed evry year and others are opted for outside placement, higher studies. The highest package is 12-16 lakhs and the average package is 7-8 lakhs.

The fee structure for the college is 12 lakhs excluding hostel charges. There are some hikes that happen every year. There is also some scholarship for the good scoring students. They provide internship opportunity with a stipend and also final placement with an average of 7-8 lakhs and the highest of 12-16 lakhs.

The campus life of IMI Bhubaneshwar is very nice and fascinating. The campus is very large and it has Gym, Library, Different sports area. There are different clubs and committees in the college which has different roles like a cultural committee, sports committee etc. The library of the college is very good. The classroom has ac and different tech which are useful during the study. The college has an auditorium where seminar happens. The hostel is also very nice and the food is the best part of the hostel.

The rooms have ac if you opt for ac room a cupboard, a study table. Every room has a balcony. And the washroom is just outside the room. The meal is very nice and healthy. The hostel is affordable based on which room the student wants. It is mandatory to live in the hostel.

There are different entrance exams for the first process of admission and after that, there is a GD round which happens among 6-8 students and topics are related to current affairs, economics, business news etc. After that interview round happens which consist of 2 faculty from the college. This is not very difficult, they only see the confidence and interest and why actually the student wants to do the course.
