VIT is one of the best private institute after IITs and NITs.Placements and college environment are the major factors which madd me choose vit.I consulted my relatives who was too in vit before getting into it He gave a positive reply so thats why I chose to get into it.

Curriculum is outdated I think it needs a revision but its not just the case of vit but of all the colleges.I am from ECE stream I feel they should focus more on whats the demand of industry rather than following standard old books and methods. Most of the faculties are okayish only few are good who are really good conceptual knowledge rest all are not teaching in depth.They are only reading the ppts which they are preparing.

I completed one curriculum development internship from sciensation (deep thought edu tech ) It was a work from home internship I got a stipend of 8k in total for 2 months. I was appointed for the position of Education Curriculum Disruptor Internin DeepThought EduTech Ventures Pvt Ltd (sciensation.tv). In that we used to create worksheets, olympiads and teaching manual,which will be further deployed in a app.Working with sciensation was all about adapting and iterating in this ride of 0 to 1 innovation.Many times teams were shuffled which gave me opportunity to work with different people which instilled in me skill to adapt smoothly.Sciensation introduced me to the ideas of various thought leaders which I never heard before.It also gave me an introduction to structured and design thinking and importance of scaffolding which make concept easier to comprehend.

Companies start visiting the campus for internships from third year onwards for CS guys.Companies include Microsoft, Well fargo, Fidelity,Visa,Upraised etc. And for placement they come in fourth yead starting onwards.First superdream companies like Microsoft Wells fargo amazon paypal flipkart etc vist followed by dream companies and then mass recruiters like TCS,wipro etc

Life is quite good at VIT.There are lot of chapters and clubs in vit.VIT has two annual fest vibrance and technovit.Lot of activities are conducted and Its whole lot of fun.Clubs and chapters send there mail for volunteering in various activities or for club leadership roles.Lot of hackathons too are conducted by various clubs one can participate and gain lot of knowledge.

VIT has a scolarship criteria given in vit official site you can refer that. Board and state toppers are given scholarship and Rank 1 to 1000 to are given scolarships I dont know about for loan facility I didn't availed for loan.

Infrastructure is quite good. Campus is well maintained.They keep great care in cleaning and maintaining the hygiene.Labs are well equiped.Library is quite big and open 24/7.All foreign and indian author books are availaible.Also there is 15 day policy of book returning We can reissue the book too for next 15 days but only once.

Hostel infrastructure is quite good There are 2bed 3bed 4 bed rooms available both AC and Non AC.For registeration of rooms,Rank list is generated based on cgpa and a time slot is given to every student for registeration.Good rank means more choices availaible.Initially in starting rooms are given based on VIT rank and they randomly formed the room partners.For some people it was difficult in 1st year, as north indiand were having south indian roomates and vice versa so there was communication barrier.Washrooms are clean.They are cleaned thrice.There is geyser problem in some floors that too they rectify on that day or next if we complain.I never thought of being a PG.Hostel life is good as we can help each other in projects, assignments and lab submissions.
