Avik Niyogi's Review On INMANTEC Institutions, Ghaziabad

MAT 2008 december , Score 93.85 % the GD and PI was happened in kolkata Avenue Club Hotel by the Placement officer. It was quite fair and easy. Not focused on communication skills but on perceptiveness and subject knowledge. The result was out within a week. And it was quite anticipated at the end of interview.

Course structures were good but there was lack of time for each subject. Based on trimester system it was quite hectic to understand all in such a small time span. It was fragmented into parts across trimesters and hence was hard to connect. As I was a management student prior it was easy to grasp for me, But it was hard for non management background.

Internship was pathetic. No big company came, but if the student is getting the internship on their own then the placement cell used to cooperate. The academics and placement cells did have a conflict on any decision on the earth. So students used to suffer on internship contacts of any academic member.

Almost 12 companies came for placements and offered on a range from 8000 to 25000. Here to mention, most people did not join on such a low salary and found their own jobs.the placement cell and soft skill trainers used to change frequently and students used to suffer.

We used to have club memberships on subjects. I was president of finance club and organized several workshops and competitions. Sankalp was the fest used to happen on every 2 years.Students used to market that and ask for sponsorship of the fest. Inter college debate and other competitions used to happen on the same structure.

It was on the higher side as per the standard of Delhi NCR. Fee was 5 Lakh 20 thousands which was only for tuition. Hostel was cheap and good. Fee structure was high because students from all India used to come and hence the marketing fees were high.

I got a scholarship of Rs 25000 for being 3rd in the whole batch. The Institution had a collaboration with ICICI, AXIS and other banks for loan facilities to be provided for the students.

Gender ratio was about 10:7 for boys and girls. Students from all India used to come for PGDM. I was president of finance club and organised several workshops and competitions. Sankalp was the fest used to happen on every 2 years.

Alumni network used to be active on the first year. As of now it is inactive. Personal relations are there with some of the juniors. College does not take any initiative.

It was hectic for nothing. In 2 years we had 6 timesters and for all trimesters mid term was there. as a result 12 examination was there with minimal class hours. we used to gobble information and write without understanding the applications. A few professors used to do case studies and hereby used to have good hold on application.
