Remarks

Main reasons for selecting this college is i am from odisha but i completed my studies in mp.So i came back to my place.It is best govt college in odisha, admission process is very simple they select students on the basis of merit list.In 2019 in my stream bsc itm (information technology management) 276 students got selected. While searching pros and cons about college i found collegedunia.com.

Course Curriculum Overview

In upcoming years there is huge growth in digital sector so choose Itm over other courses, faculty members are quite good i want to address a short story i came this college from mp and don't know regional language(odia) very well and they use odia language for explanation when i told him about this problem they arranged a extra class after normal class where we can discuss our problems, teaching method is impressive they use projecters and labs properly, so we can learn theory as well as practical. Exams are normal go through notes provided by teachers and some referred books like for c programming LET US C and for DISCRETE MATHEMATICS ROSSEN.

Class Size: 276Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience

After 4th semester you are eligible for placements but you need atleast more then 60% to attend a good company, every year wipro, tcs,diollite and many companies came here. In this year diollite selected 20 students with 32k/month salary and Wipro is conducting a test for campus placements on 18 dec 2020.

College Events

Only i attended a function that is my freshers organised by our senior what a incredible day, my best day in college life, full dj night and fun. In our college there is KANIKA Library in this library 20000 books have only one copy in India. And we have one more separate library in our department. There is a NSG CREW group famous in Odisha they make song videos and all dnace choreography.

Hostel Facilities

The worst thing in college is food, i don't like anything in hostle food, meal quality is very poor but hostle infrastructure is very good. While applying for admission there is a section if you want a seat in hostle then check it. Rent for hostle is 8k /year and 800/ year for electricity bill and 1500 rs is security deposit.And food charge is 26 rs/per meal and 40 meals are compulsory.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

In 5th semester the campus is coming to give you jobs. The company are vedant ltd, jsw, tata, reliance etc, outside companies also come. Maruti Suzuki. 60 to 70 per cent of students gate the job. I am also job junior engineer at Tata.

Courses and instructors are good, but don't expect a rocking campus life here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college without planning as I couldn't get a desired seat in IIT. But I think it was for good. The course is a wonderful primer on the path of becoming a scientist. Compared to other colleges, IISER Berhampur has a quite good faculty: student ratio. But most of them are pretty good as people and as teachers. We manage to conduct all classes without fail. But I'd like to see an increase in the number so that the research area can be broadened. The faculty here have all completed their Ph.D. and postdoc and all have some good prior experience in research and teaching. I like most of the instructors that have taught me except for a few one or two. The exam schedule is given right with the calendar release of each semester before the semester starts. Sometimes there might be changes in the schedule but we are informed around 2-3 weeks earlier in that case. Exams are not hard to pass if you attend classes and study sincerely. Questions are not asked beyond the concepts being taught.

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

Ravenshaw univerrsity history is more historic then other colleges and institutes. If you are lucky then you will get the admission into this. Other private and othr colleges you can get admitted by scoring avergae mark or with good amount of money but to get into Ravenshaw only your very good marks and luck is needed for it.
