KITS WARANGAL

It is one of the best Engineering colleges in the state with a history of 40 years. It's one of the oldest private Institutions in the state. It has a lush green campus of 70 acres and good laboratory facilities and a very huge playground and excellent recreation facilities like a badminton court, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and all sorts of sports arenas are available in the college. And placements are also decent.

Course curriculum was upto the mark, but it can be made better. I joined in 2016 and the course curriculum was updated in 2018 and made it far more advanced and upto the level of current industry level. Faculty are good with a lot of Experience and most of them are doing their PhD now, so they are constantly in touch with the subject.

From 7th semester students are eligible to attend the placement drives. The prominent companies that visit the college are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Musigma, hyundai etc. The packages are not very great for a tier 1 college like KITS Warangal. The median /average package is around 3-4 lakhs

Life at campus is pretty good. It has a lush green campus of around 70 acres. The hostels are very neat and has all the best facilities with 24 hrs water supply, hot water for bathing and high speed Internet facility. The classrooms are very well ventilated and all the classrooms are powered with solar energy and the entire campus is powered by solar energy. Every classroom has a digital projector for the faculty to display presentations and 3D models. There are 9 clubs like cultural club, sports club, disciplinary club, etc. And the college conducts 2 fests every year. One is Sumshodhini which is the technical fest, and another one is Sanskriti which is the cultural fest.

Fee structure is according the fees prescribed by the government of the state. Opportunity of scholarship is solely dependent on the rank that is obtained in the state level engineering entrance test and no additional scholarship will be provided from the college. And campus jobs are pretty decent, average package is around 3.5-4 lakhs per annum. Mostly CSE, ECE, IT students bag most of the campus placements.

The hostels are very neat and has all the best facilities with 24 hrs water supply, hot water for bathing and high speed Internet facility. Mess food is not that great. It is below average. But coming to hostel rooms, the rooms are very well maintained and they are cleaned everyday. Washrooms are cleaned twice a day.
