Remarks

I choose this college because it is in my hometown and fully dedicated to Science and technology. The reputation of this college among other students and my family members influenced me to join this college. The faculty here is good and placement is also average around Rs 4-8 lakh per annum. The admission is done on the basis of JEE main for btech student and on merit basis for BCA or BBA students. I used Collegeduniya to know about this college while admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty to student ratio is well here approx 1/30. Qualifications of faculties are mentioned in college website. Exams are timely and one needs to have good preparation to pass the semester exams.

Placements only for btech and mtech students. Highest package this year is 13.5 lakh per annum. Btech students are elegible for placements in the 5th semester. Companies like accenture, ibm come here to recruit. 80% students gets placed. My plans after getting this degree is to persue MCA for further studies.

College Events

There are various clubs available in our college. The library is also quite big. Sports are respected with good coach seniors and ground is available for many types of sports. Clubs like pratibimb, megapixels society and many others are run by students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college hikes fees every year and there is nothing wrong to say that this college demands much higher fees as compared to other colleges in India. The college offers scholarship for btech students and placement are only for btech and mtech students. One have to find internships on his/her own.

From the fifth semester,the students becomes eligible for campus placement. Opus,tata Birla,concentrics etc companies have visited. The highest package was 18 lcs and minimum was 5lcs. The percentage of students getting placement are below 50% My plans after getting the degree is to get a business

Placement Experience:

Placement rate is around 75%-80% . The average package hovers around 4 LPA-5 LPA and the highest package falls between 15 LPA- 16 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, HCL , Aditya Birla Group. From last semester students are eligible for campus placement.

5th sem you get the placement in goods company. Tata motors of gujrat visited in our campus to get the new freshers in our college. The highest package of our college is 1000000 avg is 300000 to 500000. The students of getting placement 75% . My plan get the degree to do business.

Overall Experience and all reality of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More
