IIT JJE. The admission process was on the basis of JEE rank. I had to register for OJEE with my JEE mains marks and accordingly my OJEE rank was assigned. I had to mention a few college of my choice and the branch which i wished to opt and i was assigned a college according to my rank in OJEE.

The course structure is good. Our college is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology(BPUT) which is a reputed university and has a good course structure according to the present need of the industry. If you want to go for research then too its a good option for you.

No our college does not provide internship. If you want to do internship you have to apply on your own. You have to write an application for a bonafide certificate which will allow you for the training.

The placement is good for the IT companies. Most of the students get placed in the IT companies. So for the campus placement you must have some knowledge in IT sector. You will get placed if you don't have a pending backlog at the end of 4th year. So best of luck for your future.

Our college fest is one of the biggest and best in odisha. Technically there are about 50 events held in which you can participate and show your talent apart from the academics. The cultural fest here is also good. There is lots of Dj night and professional singers from bollywood also takes part.

Fee structure is feasible. As you know private colleges charge you a lot but Orissa Engineering College has a genuine fee. So if you want to build a career in engineering this college may be good for you. For 1st year the fee is 1 lac and hostel fee is 55000. For the later fee is 95000 approximately.

Yes there are scholarship offered by many trusts as well as the state government. If you belong to odisha you will be offered many more scholarships.

Gender ratio is 70:30. That is 70 boys and 30 girls. Debates are conducted too if you are good at it you will be benefitted. The are MUNs held . There is no such race, religion or cast etc in our college. So if you want only to study you can join the college.

Hostel is very airy and spacious. You need to share your room with three of your friends. It is good as you wont feel lonely there. So it provides you a good environment. You can also study together make fun together.the hostel food is not very good but you can manage.

The seniors are helpful as well as management. If you go for help they will not turn their back. So i recommend you to join the college.

No. It is not hectic. Facaulties are very helpful but you have to attend your lab classes regularly as it helps to gain you practical knowledge as well as obtain a good grade. For exams you have to study. There is no other option to get a good grade.

The faculties are experienced and have good knowledge of the course. Students need to work hard for success. Mechanical Civil CSE branch of our college is pretty good. So its a good option if you want to be in this college. The faculties provide you a good practical knowledge about how the industry works.
