Good discipline is maintained and highly preferable for girls.Good academic curriculum also they concentrate on sports.lab facilities are awesome. good support from professors and assistant professors.If you want a good practical knowledge this is preferably.all the people encourage your idea. also,t hey have many clubs that helps budding entrepreneurs.

Teachers are helpful and good. They are highly qualified and absolutely knowledgeable. Teaching quality is excellent. The faculty makes sure that every student is perfect in the subject. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the student ready for industry.

Online internships are provided due to covid situation.sastra is collebrated with Coursera for developing skills in students.more than 200 courses are freely accessed by sastra students.these online courses include AWS.

SASTRA offers decent campus placements. Most of the students who study here get recruited by TCS as TCS is the mass recruiter for our college. SASTRA also offers decent salary packages. I think the lowest salary package offered here is 3.5 LPA.

Hostels are par with various other colleges. But they get better after the first year. Wi-Fi is available for laptops only, but they must be registered before using them. Huge library containing more than 1L books and 10L books. The Hostels are average, but one gets used to the conditions and food overtime. The college has it's own doctor and medical center. There is a football field, badminton court, gym and various other sports facilities. for girls everything is Available inside the hostel all the games,sports,gym everything is too good.

70 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 28.5 LPA and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM corporation, TCS, I-FLEX solutions, BHEL, Nalco India, TVS Motor Company and HTC global services. The average package is 9.3 LPA.More than 90% of the students have been placed in various companies. Initially, all the companies that come on campus are mass recruiters. Various core companies do come for various other fields.

Hostels for first year will be allotted by them after that registration is needed.You will be given options to opt the needed room which includes single room,double room,and room with 5 members. The rent is very minimal and affordable for all students. cleanliness is very well maintained in hostel.
