My Experience of BBDU

This was a good college, and also in the city nearby to my town. And obviously it is a private university. So, if talk about admission process:- It starts in the month of July and continues till September, sometime they take admission even in October. It doesn't conduct any entrance exam. One can directly get admission if he has 60% in his 12th. It is one of the good private universities in Lucknow and even in U.P. I got to know about this college by a relative.

Well. I chose BCA referred as Bachelor of Computer Application. This was because I am very excited for computers and technology. Faculty is good in their specific field, but their are not much experts of the field. I don't know much about their qualification but their teaching method is good when one intends to study. Term exams occur on the period of 1.5-2 months. It is not much difficult to pass, you just have to have basic knowledge of the subjects.

I didn't opt for any internships in the college period. But when I was in our final semester we had to work on some project instead of giving exam. So I went for a summer training from an Institution named (Cosmo Info Solutions). I worked on a website project based on python + Django. The submission of project and viva went online due to Covid-19 pandemic occurred during our final semester.

Students become eligible for campus placement program from 5th semester and sometimes it depends on the company which is coming for recruitment. Actually I don't know any company which offered 7 no salary package, but the college says that there are some companies. As told by college the highest package is around 20 Lac/ Annum and the average package is 3,50,000/annum. There are approx 50% student get placed. I'll do my masters now.

We had a quite good campus life. There is an amazing fest organized every year named "UTKARSH", in this fest there are hundreds of events being organized by the college community groups. There are also many outsider groups. We had hosted Bollywood Singer GURU RANDHAWA once in UTKARSH. There is also a library in campus. Classrooms are as usual. There are many activities like sports, tech, fashion, arts and many more are always going on in the campus. There are many groups of different blocks and buildings. We also have NSS & NCC communities in the campus.

When I got admission there was fee of 30000/- per semester including tuition fee. But when I came in my final year the fee was hiked for 10000/- for new admissions. So from 2019 It is 40000/- per semester. Their are some scholarships offered by college on the basis of performance in exams. And one can apply for scholarship provided by state Govt. or some Category based scholarships. In my course there was not any job provide (part-time or full-time) during the course period.

There are hostel facilities provided by university in the campus. There are separate buildings for every year students. In hostel room you would get 2 single beds (if double seat), two study tables, two cupboards & two chairs. The meal provide on the definite time. Meal quality is good and they provide many varieties of foods according to the menu. To take campus hostel one has to register at the time of admission. There are many other private hostels also come up with better facilities. In the area in front of the BBD university. These hostels also cost less as compared to campus hostel.

There was not any type of group discussion or written test for the admission. Anyone who has been passed his 12th with minimum of 60% marks can get admission in the Under graduation course (There are some other criteria for Masters).
