Remarks

IMT Nagpur is located at a lush green campus covering a land area of 27 acres with 24*7 Wi-Fi connectivity. It has a well stocket learning resource center with 31,906 volumes, 1.83 lakh e-books, and over 40 magazines. It has various committees and forums for the comprehensive development of students.

Course Curriculum Overview

IMT Nagpur offers three two-year, full-time residential PG programs which include PGDM, PGDM Finance and PGDM Marketing spread over three trimesters each. Available across seven, six, and six specializations, these courses are inclusive of 24 core courses, 15 electives, and one summer internship project at the end of the first year.

Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are also handled by the placement committee. 100% of the batch gets a summer internship and it is mandatory to do at least 6-8 weeks of summer internship as it carries course credits. SIPs are always available for IMT students.

Placement Experience

The placement committee and other authorities ensure an efficient placement process. A lot of top corporate visit campus for final placement and the average package is around 7 LPA. BFSI, Consulting, FMCG are among the top hiring sectors.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for 2 years is 12.10 lakhs and the institute offers a number of scholarships to the students. Students are authorized to only get one scholarship for the entire program. Special scholarship for candidates getting 90 percentile or above in CAT and XAT exams.

Campus Life

There a lot of activities in IMT Nagpur which make life at campus quite happening and fun. Melange, M35, and various other events take place year-round which gives moments of relief between hectic academic schedule.

Hostel Facilities

As the infrastructure is amazing at IMT, the accomodation facilities along with food are just fine. Though there is no provision of any cooling system in the hostel, things are manageable. IMT also has mess and canteen.

Interview Experience

Applicants are shortlisted for the Group Exercise and Personal Interview round on the basis of CAT/CMAT/XAT exam scores. IMT Nagpur follows a completely online process of admission to all its two-year PG and FPM programs.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
