Remarks

Bharati College, one of the top women’s colleges in West Delhi, is a constituent college of DU is located in a serene and scenic campus. It is a good college in terms of education. Faculty members are soo helping and cooperating. Besides their academic commitments, students are required to participate in co-curricular activities ( NSS, NCC, and Sports). The College also offers part-time, self-financing courses in foreign languages (French, German and Russian). Vanijay Samiti (The commerce society) also offers informational webinars on different commerce-related issues. The Red stockings(The English literary society) also runs a monthly online magazine called “The Red Stockings Chronicles”. Ananda (The fun society) unfolds positivity and helps you to survive a tense atmosphere far from your home. There are soo other societies in the college which offer overall development of a student. The admission process is based on merit. Seniors of the college are soo helpful and friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose BCom Hons as there will be a huge demand for an economics specialist in the upcoming market. Faculty members of the college are just wow!. Prof. Monika Arya ( law faculty) is my favorite. She is soo helpful and a sea of knowledge. Every faculty member is so cooperating even at a personal level. They are like my family

Internships Opportunities

3.5

OPUS provides internship offers on a regular basis to every year student. Companies offered internships in the college include Talent serve, Decathlon, UnMa, muskurahat foundation, and soo on. The stipend is mostly performance-based.

Placement Experience

2.5

OPUS ( the training and placement cell) is good if you are capable enough, and the payment would be good. every year students are eligible for internship offers. It will boost your cv and help you to have better employment opportunities. The highest package offered is 5 lac.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of a BCom Hons student are 10,465 only. It's not the college fees but the cost of living in Delhi (if you are an outsider) that is what forces you to step back. If you are a pg resident then your annual cost of living in Delhi will be around 3 lac. OPUS (The training and placement cell) is good if you are capable enough, and the payment would be good. It provides internships offer a regular basis.

Campus Life

4

we all are well aware of life at Delhi university!! It's just great! ABHIVYAKTI ( the annual fest of Bharati college) is organized by the students for the students. The crowd at the fest is just amazing! The college has a totally digitalized library.

Hostel Facilities

3

College offer hostel facility for the students who far from their home. There is limited seats in the hostel. You get hostel seat on merit basis and college distance from your home. Hostel is good option of girls at bharatii college as it is safe and provide a good infrastructure facility.

Interview Experience

0.5

I didn't face any group discussion, interview, written test, or anything for the admission as it was a merit-based admission. I got admitted to Bharati college based on my class 12th percentage. First, you have to fill Delhi University admission form that costs about 150. Now after 1-2 months when the cut-offs are released, you can apply to the college you are eligible to get admission to according to your percentage.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
