Remarks

College management needs to buckle up a bit if they want to compete in today's environment. They need to be backed by atleast Birla owned companies so that the placements are somewhat always consistent.

I gave CAT entrance exam.

Internships Opportunities

Yes Students have to sit for internship, but due to it being a tough time around global meltdown, the stipend factor wasn't there with all. I did my internship arranged by myself with a minimal stipend enough to pay for my transportation and food.

Placement Experience

Placements have improved a lot in the recent years as have the college fees though. The highest placement was around 9-10 Lacs in my year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was around 5 Lakh during my time but I hear now that it has gone up several notches.

Very normal Bank loans are available, nothing significantly cheaper than what you hear now a days.

Hostel Facilities

First year you have to stay in an external hostel but second year you shift inside the campus where the facilities are good.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Depends on the Course really, for my course which was the flagship course it had decent faculty.

Worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college is good. Most of our seniors got placed in good organizations. Companies lying under fortune 500 also comes in our college for placement. And before internship each student have to go through a live project provided by the college which will help in deciding the specialization.

I Business Institute overview from the point of view of the student.

Placement Experience:

Students when they comes back from their summer internships, starts appearing for the internship interviews. The final interviews takes place months before the completion of the course. Companies like amul, delloit, amazon, meesho, flipkart comes in the campus for hiring. Many students get the PPO from their intership companies and they dont have to sit fot the final placements. the highest package offerd is 28LPA and the lowest rangese between 6 to 8 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed and rest opts for starting their own startups. After completing the cousre i want to place myself in a reputed company in a reputed designation, however through our curriculum i am also looking to start my own startup and work upon it simultaneously my job.

Placements are good in the college as there is a new placement team hired. which is bringing the result. For my senior batch, companies like Amazon and Toyota came for hiring, and also companies from every domain are coming. The average package was around 9 LPA.

TRUTH ABOUT BIMTECH

I applied to other colleges like FORE and GIM. I gave interviews for both the colleges. But was not able to clear the shortlist ib both the colleges. I had no option but to choose BIMTECH. However I would say Fore is always better than BIMTECH. and GIM is always preffered....Read More
