Remarks

The campus is huge and beautiful. The faculty is extremely knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to teaching and placements. ROI is great when compared to other Tier 2&3 colleges. Overall a good choice.

PGDM at IMT Nagpur is a curated course designed to impart industry training, groom budding managers to adapt to the industry practices. Case studies, of the class sessions and innovative learnings at IMT Nagpur, is highly focused.

Course Fees: INR 700000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College offers internship opportunities. Companies Jio creative Labs, Payu, Paytm, Aditya Birla, Crisil did offer positions for internships. Stipend range from nil to even 25k per month. The profile is varied.

Placement Experience

Placements are fair. Being a tier 2&3 college, average placements stand at 7-9 lpa. Since the fees are low, ROI stands out. This year onwards IMT Nagpur is doing well to bring in more companies and train us to attract higher packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are around 12lac for 2 years including hostel and mess fees. Avg package is 7-9 lpa which means ROI is excellent. This year IMT Nagpur had companies like Deloitte, Bain, and Co, Goldman Sachs coming in.

Campus Life

IMT Nagpur has over 25 clubs, committees, forums, and Ventures enabling students to polish any skills and even gain new ones. There are ventures where students invest real money, encourage sales, and earn profits.

Hostel Facilities

Infrastructure is great, food is very good when compared with other colleges mess food. Rooms are spacious, washrooms are cleaned regularly. The college has multiple grounds for all kinds of sports. The campus is really beautiful and covered with lush greenery.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Interview Experience

Yes, it was a group exercise where we had to design a model for curbing air pollution and promoting carpool services. I had prior experience of such exercises which helped me a great way to tackle the same.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Placement Experience:

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
