The admission process is very simple. 3 hr to complete the admission process. This college is an emotion. The faculty members are all very good. Jalpaiguri government engineering college is an autonomous college. In ithis college ragging is strictly prohibited. The senior and junior relationship is very good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the Electronic and communication engineering department because it is an allrounder of all departments .many opportunities like software, hardware, communication, core company etc. The faculty are very impressive and very qualified. all the faculty members are very sweet and teach us in a very smooth way. Exam always difficult but our faculty members work very hard and the students also work very hard.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offering a paid internship like Amazon, TCS, Wipro and many others. Many students getting internship off-campus. The faculty members help you to get an internship. So we say that the internship opportunity available with my college is very good.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for the campus placement. A company like TCS, CTS, Robart bosch, etc etc. The highest package is approximately 23 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. 75-80%student getting placement through campus placement. I plan to get a job in campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am under a TWF scholarship. So the amount of the fee is very low. I am paying only 1710 rs per semester. I am also thankful to our alumni association who gave me 12000 rs per year. This is very helpful to me but the normal fees for all students are 7710 rs per sem.
Campus Life
Techfest - Sristi, conducted by 3rd year. Annual fest- jacket, conducted by 4th year. Very interesting. And all the students and professors enjoying together. Library facilities are awesome. The amenities of the classroom is cool and good. Extracurricular activities various way.
Hostel Facilities
Two members in a room with attached bathroom and two almari and also provide two chairs and two tables. Very clean campus and a very clean hostel. Meal quality is superb, give a two-time meal. The registration process is simple. Rent is also very low like 12000 per semester. This is a very small amount.
Interview Experience
Yes, I am facing the GD and writing test for the exam. GD topic in today's condition in India for forestation and deforestation. 5 member group. 5 min to discuss. All my friends said who he has talked to. It is very interesting and I am very happy.
