Remarks
To my knowledge, DTU has the most educated and experienced teachers and also offers a variety of opportunities that leads to the overall enhancement of an individual. The campus is full of greenery and by far the best library. I don't think there is any disadvantage apart from the student and teacher's ratio, the rest of the fest hosted is quite good and the placements are awesome.
Course Curriculum Overview
So faculty varies from department to department but all are great with a PhD degree in their teaching courses! They are very helpful and are available any time when students are confused or have doubts. All of them are experienced and everything is smoothly done in the class. So the students are quite high approx sixty with an including faculty. The teaching was done through daily life examples. If you concentrate nicely in class then you have no problem with exams.
Internships Opportunities
So the company came was Wipro, Infosys and Maruti. In the Maruti internship role was to look up the machine parts like if they are properly attached or working and if there is some problem, detecting that problem, the stipend was like 7000 in my knowledge and for Infosys was 9000 and for Wipro 6500.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible from the third year for internships and placements. At my time the highest package was 38 lakhs and the average was 7 lakhs. The CGPA of students getting placements was above 8. Companies like Wipro, Infosys and Maruti came at that time. I think the overall budget was approx 1.5 crores. Most of the seniors are placed with a decent package. I planned to do the job for atleast three to four years and then start a business on my own.
Fees and Financial Aid
The placements and scholarship are excellent in DTU. The books or the study material are cost-effective and easily available at shops. All reputed company around the world comes to college with best placements offers. Companies like Wipro, Infosys and Maruti came at my time. I got placement in Infosys of package 18 lakhs because the main focus at that time was the job profile and the academic skills of an individual. The fees for one semester was 52000.
Campus Life
The campus life was a roller coaster ride. As a student of sports, my complete focus was on the sports club event that is Aahvan which is generally happened before or after Holi. I won 2 medals and a certificate in the relay race and 200-meter race, the medal was silver in relay and bronze in 200 meters. The library is equipped with an air conditioner, also engifest is quite popular in college. At my time Sushant Singh came into our college.
Interview Experience
So apart from merit, you can get through JEE mains. You need to score 200+ to get a good stream. For general 75% is taken and for other categories, 60% is taken. To get a good stream you need to rank less than 12000. I prepare through websites and youtube videos and my school teachers who are also ex-students of DTU. As 85% of seats are reserved for Delhi students so as such no major problem happened.
