A 2020 batch student FeeL.

I appeared in JEE mains and got 96.28 percentile. Then, in JEE advance but was not able to qualify. So, on the basis of my score in mains and locality from where I belong, Una was the best possible option. Also, I was looking for a tech branch. Although in JOSSA I got ECE then I applied through CSAB where I managed to get IT. So, that's why I am here.

I am from the IT branch and I wanted to get tech branch so I chose it. The faculty-student ratio is good here I must say. Also, faculty is very helpful in all matters. They try their best to understand and resolve your issues. Almost all the faculties are PhD. In one semester, we have 3 type of exams CT1 , CT2 and end sem and if you are serious about studies you can easily crack them.

This is the best part about our college I think. One whole semester is dedicated to internships... 6th I guess. There is no study load in those six months. One can explore the field and work according to their wish.

Placements are quite good. The average package of 14 LPA is there for my branch seniors. Also, students are getting huge packages of above 30 LPA off-campus. Students can get placed in big MNCs like Microsoft, Adobe.

As IIITS are in PPP mode mostly, so the fees are very huge. Above one lakh fee, we have to pay excluding hostel and mess fee. And even in this pandemic, when we are at our homes, using our own internet services, college is charging internet tax and many other like ground tax, etc.

The tech fest of our college is meraki. It is conducted every year but last year due to a pandemic it was not held. In the library, we can get almost all course-related and scientific books. Our college students take part in inter IIIT sports meet and won in various fields.

So, I can't say much about hostels because I had never visited the college being a student of the 2020 batch. But yes the info we got from seniors is like there is strict curfew timing for girls especially. The Mess menu is too good, u might feel better than your home but the quality is so so. After all it's mess food.

Selection in this college is merely through your scores in JEE mains. There is no GD or interview sort of thing. JEE is a national level exam for engineering through which you can apply for Josaa counseling and then got the admission.
