Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa

This college is under Delhi University which is best itself. Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa is an off-campus college, I wanted to study in Punjabi college so I took this. Admission is done on the basis of merit. Delhi University releases a cutoff for admission, if we clear the cutoff then we can apply for that college. The campus of the college is good. I searched on youtube about the college before taking admission in it and I'm happy and satisfied with my decision.

Course BSc. Mathematics(H) is course based on pure mathematics. There are total 6 semesters in 3 years. In the first semester, there are two core subjects algebra and calculus along with Generic Elective(GE) which is based on our choice and AECC which is either English or Environmental studies. The second semester also has 2 core subjects, 1 Ge and 1AECC The third Semester has 3 core subjects, 1 Ge and 1SEC (Skill enhancement course) and the same goes on further. Teachers are highly educated, most of them have done their PhDs. Their method of teaching is also good. Exams are easy to pass if you are regular.

College offers both off-campus and on-campus internship opportunities. Companies like Wipro, Outlook group, Josh, Sparrow, Mega infusion etc., comes with internship opportunities. Profile like a Business consultant, Human Resource Management, Graphic Designer, Social media marketing, Content creation are offered. Mainly all the internships are eligible for all years and all courses. Stipend up to Rs8000 is given depending upon the role and duration. These internships give you work experience and also polish your kills. Certificates and LORs earned can play a good role in CV in the future.

College placement is 85%. Companies like Wipro, Lido, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein comes to take bright and deserving students. The highest package cracked I know is 4.5Lacs. Many students pursue higher studies from BSc. Mathematics. I will also go for higher studies.

Fees is affordable as this is a government institution. Total Amount is around 50000 for three years. The college has Placement cell which brings various opportunities for students to earn experience, learn skills, and also to earn some money. Information regarding internships and part time jobs are given to student where students can apply according to their field of interest and skills. Anyone from any semester can apply, durability is for a different time period, some are for one month and some for 6 months, it totally depends. Stipend up to Rs5000 can be earned per month.

Campus life is really amazing, college life is the best life one can life. SGNDKC has many facilities like a library, canteen, computer labs etc., Library has more than 3000+ books. Classes are also well cleaned and ventilated. There are many clubs and societies like Dramatics society, Art society (Impasto) , Mathematics society, Placement cell, Tech club etc. Various events are organized time to time by these. NCC and NSS is also available.
