Kritika Saluja's Review On Sri Venkateswara College - Delhi, New Delhi

Our college firstly has a very good infrastructure. The college has a well-maintained ground and a promising canteen. It is also at a minimum walking distance from the metro station. The admission process was smooth, even though everything was online we didn't face any complications. I got admission through the ECA quota here. Ranks were provided to all the ECA aspirants and according to the preferred course and seats available, colleges were allotted. Venkateswara college has excellent societies which work efficiently too.

I chose BSc(H). Mathematics because of my keen interest in this subject. This course also offers a vide ranging opportunities in the future. The maths faculty of this college is pretty good. Teachers are cooperative, even if everything was online they still tried their best to get the topics. Also, maths is such a subject which needs student's attention, practice and hard work too. So if you can cope with that then maths at this college is good to go. Teachers also give timely worksheets and practical classes are taken regularly too.

Our college offers good internship opportunities. The internship offers to start from the first semester itself but students generally prefer to start it from the third semester. I've seen various good companies coming in our first semester from zomato to younity.in Since I'm a second-semester student ill be doing an internship from next semester. The placement cell of our college is very good. They tell us all the pre-requisite knowledge and things that need to be prepared like CV etc well before time.

Placements offered by our college are pretty good. All the departments offer exciting placements. The average highest salary package is 5LPA and the lowest is 1LPA. Many good companies come to the college. If in some courses there are no placements, then they offer good internship opportunities too. Some students plan for higher education too after attaining a bachelor's degree.

I think the fee structure of this college was pretty convenient. It was nearly 13000 for one year which is quite reasonable honestly after seeing the college infrastructure, faculty. The placements here are also good in every course.

Since I am from the 2023 batch so we have not experienced any social life yet. Everything is online. But still, our college managed to give us some exposure to fests, societies etc pretty satisfactorily. The maths department organised its annual fest Exponent online for the first time. The freshers were done online too. Being a part of different societies is bliss. From their auditions to doing online campaigns with them, being busy with the work assigned, managing the deadlines, all these were still amusing even though in online mode.
