SIMSR hostel (3 sharing) is too good but very expensive polytechnic Hostel (4 sharing) is cheap and have acceptable amenities food is ok outside capus PGs are available at monthly rent of 8K and flat rent costs around 15k for 1 Room Kitchen.
Alumni/Alumna
Not a very good alumni network, even if you find one he/she may give a advice which may prove to be beneficial for the student.
Faculty
Faculties are helping but very strict if you don't complete your work on time.
