Remarks

It is a decent college with a good brand name. The college is mainly student driven so students are responsible for managing different events which helps in developing skills that a manager requires. College offers decent placement with average salary around 7 lacs.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 6 terms in whole course. The first year is general management where you'll learn about all fields such as marketing, finance, analytics, operations. Most of the faculties are good enough with vast knowledge holding Ph.D. degree.

Course Fees: INR 610000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship companies are mostly startup and not all companies provide stipend. Those who provide stipend the average is around 10k. Almost whole batch gets internship. The internship projects hold weightage in the curriculum.

Placement Experience

Average salary for placement is around 7 lacs with highest package around 16lacs. Almost 95 percent of students get placed in the batch of 300 students. Companies like wipro, Deloitte, Crisil, Bajaj Allianz comes to the college with a profile or management trainee, sales manager, Business analyst etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for 2 years is 1210000 rupees. Scholarship are for those who scores above 90 percentile in CAT/XAT. The other scholarship are based on academic performance which is given after first year. It is around 1 lac rupees.

Campus Life

It is a 30 acre lush green campus with smart classes. The library is big enough where you can find books of your interest. As the college is student driven so most of the activities are carried out by students only.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room have basic amenities such as bed cupboard, table, chair, Wi-Fi etc. The mess have different menu for each day and food is good enough. The fees for hostel is included in academic fees only so there is no other charges. It is a residential campus so it is mandatory for all the students to take hostel.

Interview Experience

You can get admission in the college through CAT, XAT, CMAT. The cut off percentile is around 75 percentile after which you'll face interview and GDPI rounds. For preparation of these round you can refer to current affairs magazine, newspaper etc.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
