Our college has good faculty, good resources like extensive e-library portals, decent placement record and good hostel facilities. Even without a permanent campus we are getting all these facilities. So , one can easily predict the progress of our college when the permanent campus gets over soon. For our batch we had online admission process owing to the pandemic. Before joining IIM Visakhapatnam, I had an opportunity to talk to some of the previous batch students of our college who became my Friends at Tata Crucible. From them, I enquired upon all the aspects that one aspires for a best college and I found them in IIM Visakhapatnam.

The Course is chosen upon my personal interest to attain global level knowledge from a world class Institute and I found IIM Visakhapatnam suiting my aspirations and now I can say the institute clearly fulfilled all my requirements. I feel faculty student ratio is very good based upon the pedagogy of the course. You can see the demand for seats in IIM Visakhapatnam by the increasing number of intake students every year. Same is the case with faculty too. The number of faculty is also increasing every year giving the students a chance to learn diverse subjects from experienced faculty. Our faculty both in-house and visiting bring along with them years of practical industry experience in the subjects they teach. Generally the examination pattern differs for each subject and you will really enjoy the classes which are very interactive and because you get the concepts better when you are happy there is no need to worry about exams.

Some of the companies that came for Internship are ICICI Lombard, Lubrizol, MTR, Modern Foods, Outlook, RBI, TATA AIG, V-Guard, Yes Bank etc .I have got an opportunity to work with Rezonant Design of Bangalore.

We had 100 percent Summer Placements and Final Placements this year as well amidst pandemic situation. That itself is a great example of the quality of students of our college. For our summers we had more than 50 companies participating in the process this year. The highest stipend for summers was Rs.2 lakh. I myself have secured summer internship at a Design thinking Company which I am very happy to say.

You have Programme Fee and Mess and other charges. Generally we find a fee hike for every incoming batch which I think is due to increasing costs. Generally fee sums up to around Rs15,40,000 and an extra of Rs.1,25,000 if you choose BPIM(Business Planning for International Markets) elective where you will be visiting different countries and learn from practical observations. Scholarship and Financial Assistance is provided for eligible students by the college after scrutiny and the severity of the requirement.

This time though online, I felt like I never missed the Campus Life. Many of the fests and conferences were conducted online and we made sure that we did not miss all the fun. The Samaarambh, our grand cultural fest was a success amidst online restrictions. Every now and then we have various competitions and fun events being floated by various clubs which keeps you busy always with entertainment combined with learning. We have clubs covering all fields of interest ranging from finance, public speaking, analytics, consulting, art-quake, dramatics & dance society, public policy and governance, and many more.
