IMT Nagpur experience

IMTN is a student driven campus , hence the students are indulged in various activities which enable them to polish their personalities. Faculties with great corporate experience teach us the highs and lows of the corporate world very efficiently. A great alumni base is also a big plus point . Admission process is Very smooth and comfortable. The main reason for choosing this college is the ROI.

I chose PGDM core as I wanted to explore more about , marketing and finance. Faculty student ratio is also great. The teaching methods includes case studies , research papers , presentations , class room activities etc. We have trimester system of examination.

IMT provides internship of 2-3 months. Companies like CRISIL , Jio studios , Aditya Birla group and various startups during the internship fair participated in the internship program. Roles offered were research analyst , marketing intern , digital marketing intern , business analyst etc.

Placements are great as compared to the current scenario because of the pandemic. From 5th semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. 56-60 companies participated in the 2020 placements. Highest salary offered is 16lpa and average is 7.94 LPA. Highest recruiting sectors were BFSI , consulting and IT & ITES.

Fees of this year stands at 1212000 with a hike of 2000 Rs. Cost to study is great as compared to the ROI. IMT provides scholarship on the basis of merit for the 90% above scorers of CAT. IMT provides summer internships of 2-3 months.

IMT has a flagship event named Milestone 35 , organized by milestone committee , the event organizing committee. It also has melange the alumni fest , and many other national level fests , where students participating is at the best. IMT has a 24/7 library names learning resource center , where you can find various books of your domain. IMT is a student driven campus , there are various clubs forums and committees where you can polish your skills and hobbies.

Room is well spacious consisting a bed , a study table and window. Food is great , healthy and hygienic. It was an on the spot registration for the hostel room. IMT is a residential campus , we are not allowed to stay anywhere outside the campus.

I got a GD related to Swacch Bharat Abhiyan , where we need to build a model to generate awareness amongst the citizens , it was an interesting group activity. Process includes a GD followed by a PI . I had the opportunity to go the campus for the same. It was a smooth and comfortable process. My preparation included , reading newspapers on a daily basis. Preparing basic interview questions etc.
