I choose to attend this college because of many reasons : 1. Affordable fee 2. Return to investment is good as its placement in computer science ( software engineering ) is very good. 3. Teachers are good 4. Have a beautiful campus of 120 acres 5. Its ranking is 93. 6. I think the above points are sufficient for anyone to choose any college.

I choose this course as j am interested in computer science and I got this through counselling on the basis of JEE mains exam. The faculty is to student ratio is good as there is 1 faculty for 40 students. Every faculty has done a masters course and some of them are from IIT and nit. Few have also done their BTech and MTech both from IIT and nit. Some of the teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable while many of the teachers you also find who don't have any interest in teaching you just complete your syllabus through anyway and just taking salaries. The exams are taken timely as there are three exams: 1. Internal - It happens when you pass 1.5 months in the college it only consist of unit 1. 2. Midsem- It happens after 2-2.5 months after your course starts and it consists of unit 2 and 3 3.End sem-It happens in last and consist of the whole syllabus.

You can get an internship only if you apply for yourself, college only provide you leave to do your internship in your 4th year. The college will not help you to get any kind of internship. You have to do hard work and you have to do a lot of research to get an internship from Cvrgu.

If you are from the computer science department there are most probable chances that you will grab a good offer from mass recruiters company like Infosys, Wipro, cognizant etc. The average package ranges from 4 lakhs in cse and almost 90 percent of the students get placed. The students from the 6th to 7th semester are eligible for placements. The highest package goes 28 lakhs this year but that is not from on campus. On campus highest package is almost 7 lakhs.

4. Fee Structure is as follow for the 2019-2023 batch Tuition fee - 1.19 lakhs for 1st year and 1.17 lakhs for remaining years. Training fee - 20 k for the first three years. Hostel fee- 72000 for 3 sharing non AC room 82000 for 2 sharing non AC room 1.12 lakhs for 2 sharing AC room You can get the scholarship from the government only if you are from Odisha and if you belong from other states you will not get any scholarships. There will be no fee hike in tuition fee once you enter the college but they may increase your hostel fee. The campus placement is really good as you will get almost 4.5 lakhs on average if you are from cse department. There are no parameters for internships you have to apply yourself if you want an internship.

Campus Life in cvrgu is not so good as there are very many restrictions as you can't get to roam around the campus after 6.30 pm. Also, there are no sports facilities like Cricket, football. You can only play basketball or volleyball there except that there are no sports facilities. There is only one technical fest and one cultural fest named Celegance which is also not a very great fest. It's a 2 day fest that includes several activities. The library is pretty good as you find several books, a newspaper there. There is the availability of several books in the library related to the course. The classroom is big in size but only have a whiteboard and benches and there is not any ac in classes you have to survive in fan only. The projectors of the classes did not work properly. No extra circular or sports activities in the college note it. The college consists of a big ground which is only for show off.

Hostel rooms are good having three bed in my room and two fans, they will provide you with a mattress and a table and chair also a wardrobe. The hostel has very strict policy in the first year but gets liberal after the first year The mess food is not good it's very bad. You can only survive through that food. They give you mess food for the three times only as breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can't move out of the hostel after 6.30 pm.
