Remarks

I have taken admission in this college because it is under Delhi University. The college is good in terms of study and extra curricular activities but not in placement. The infrastructure of the college is also good (projectors in all class). The teachers are very experienced. The course is completed timely. Also every Wednesday some insightful event is organized in college. There are various societies in the college, student can join as per their interests. Apart from this, a student has to choose one compulsory activity out of National Service Scheme, National Cadet Corps and Sports. Every year Annual Sports Day is celebrated. The fest of the college is also good like last year they had invited Guri (Punjabi singer). The placement of the college is not good. If you are expecting of job after graduation from this college, this will not be a good option for you. But if you are preparing for some competitive exams or pursuing any other course then you can surely go for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chosen this course because it gives you knowledge about all commerce related career investment, banking, management, law, accounts and finance. There is a batch of 50 students in each class. The teachers are very much qualified in the subject they are teaching. They tell you more than what is written in books. They also guide your career. There are a total of 6 semesters in the course and exams are held after every 6 months in December and May. Teachers cover all the syllabus before exams. So it becomes easy to pass. No student in our class gets fail in any semester till now. The books recommended by teachers and 10 years are enough. You can get the highest marks if you cover these 2.

Internships Opportunities

4

The placement cell of college daily gives you update about internships. You can apply to them easily. They Collaborate with Internshala to give you discounts. Provides you videos for CV and resume building, cracking interview and group discussion.

3rd years are eligible for college placements. But the internships and job information is almost provided through the official WhatsApp group and Instagram handles. Placement cell is active in the college and trying their best to provide you with internships and jobs. They Collaborate with Internshala and provide you discounts on courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the course are very less i.e. 10,000 per year that means 30,000 for 3 years. Apart from this one has to pay examination fees that vary from course to course like for B.com it is 500. But if you are an outsider then you have to pay for PG which makes it costlier. The college provides various scholarship. The information about the scholarship is put on the notice board and also on the college official site. The placement cell daily gives you information about internships and jobs on the WhatsApp group and from the site also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
