Remarks

It has a great infrastructure for learning but on the other hand, you might face problems in finding good internships. The admission process is smooth and is generally held from January end. College provides a great ROI, and a platform for immense learning. I went through the official website. www.imtnagpur.ac.in

Course Curriculum Overview

IMT Nagpur has an amazing pedagogy, which not only helps you achieve your dreams but also gives a platform for means for it. The faculty is an asset to the organization, with 1:4 being the faculty: student ratio. Even though Covid 19 created hurdles but IMT made sure that these hurdles do not come in way of our career.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Investment analyst intern, Finance intern, management trainee are some of the job roles. The stipend is generally not lucrative We are assigned projects related to business development, analysis, research.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements from semester 4. JP Morgan, all major banks and FMCG companies visit the campus. The highest package was 18 lakh whereas average is somewhat between 8.5 lakhs. There is generally 100 per cent placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees is around 14 lakhs and IMT also has merit scholarships for students scoring 90 percentile or above in CAT XAT. We have a good chance to work in ventures and earn a small stipend. This is the hiked fee, the previous year it was 12 lakhs.

Campus Life

There is a specific committee when it comes to the fest. Milestone committee organizes annual fest, M35. Ovia is the cultural committee and is responsible for celebrating all the festivals. we can undertake any sports we want to play and also be part of the sports committee.

Hostel Facilities

We have an amazing food facility serving breakfast lunch snack and dinner timely. We have two separate canteens and several food joints that are run by students. The hostel rooms are clean and accommodates two students for boys. Girls have an option for single occupancy too.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Interview Experience

It wasn't exactly a GD but a group activity, wherein we had to draw something on the chart paper and give a small presentation on the activity we did. The interview questions were mostly related to our resume, work experience and skill set.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
