Remarks
The college has an excellent team of faculty. One of the highlights would be the Learning Resource Centre. The campus is one of the best in the country. It gives its students a home away from home feel along with the rigorous academic activities going on on campus. The facilities provided by mess and hostel is good enough. Internships and placements offered by the college are remarkable. The admission process was smooth and seamless.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because the subjects and electives offered seemed to fit perfectly for the specialization that I planned on doing for an MBA degree. The faculty: student ratio would be 1:15 The teaching methods used are flipped class technique, interactive discussions on case studies. Faculties are highly qualified with the highest being Doctorates. Term exams occur quite frequently. Has a very fast pace. It has an average difficulty level of passing.
Internships Opportunities
Roles offered for marketing specialization students are marketing internship, sales, and marketing internship. For finance specialization, roles offered are finance internship, marketing analyst. Brand ambassador offers are also made through live projects by many companies. Mainly startups.
Placement Experience
From the 4th semester, students become eligible for campus final placements, and for Summer internship Placements students are eligible from the 2nd term itself. Companies like Crisil, PayU, Jio creative Labs, etc have visited for Summer internship hiring and provided internships to a decent number of students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Provides a good scholarship opportunity for students securing high percentiles. The fee structure is reasonable and affordable with a deduction this year for students pursuing their PGDM course in the covid 19 pandemic
Campus Life
There are many events and academic competitions that are held. With cultural events organized by the committee. Academic forums conduct conferences, olympiads. The biggest event that is held is at a national level named Concord. During the month of February. There are various clubs like Literati, Rangmanch, Zimphonia for narrating, drama and singing. It also has a cultural committee named Ovia. There are student ventures which are handled by the students itself to name some of which are Prayatna - cooperative store, FNF, Campus Oxygen - Laundering services , Zero Mile - Transport service.
Hostel Facilities
Weekly cleaning services for student rooms. Any issues faced with rooms or helping with carrying luggage to the room. Keeping luggage safe while students are not on campus and away from home. The meal provided in mess is decent in fact good. The registration process is smooth for hostel and is affordable
Interview Experience
There was a group exercise held. No GD. And a final PI round. Prepared for these rounds by reading about current affairs and brushed up on the subjects that I had during college graduation. Did some college research on the official website
