Remarks

Aspects:- The good aspects are it has a huge ground where you can play games and the Library is also nice. The bad aspect is it's a little far from the metro station. Admission through your 12th marks or merit It's a nice college and everyone want to take admission in one of the DU colleges You can take admission through its official website.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.com is a good course and you learn new things. The faculty is also nice in PGDAV, well behaved and knowledgeable. Student ratio - 60 in a section and each course has 2 sections There are 2 types of exams 1 is internal and 1 is external (or Final exam) and exams are usually normal, not too difficult.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Placement Experience

You Can do an internship in Your 3rd or Final year. And many companies like RBS, Wipro come for campus placement and you can apply to them. The average package is around 3LPA and Highest -13LPA. Around 40% of students selected from campus placement My plan is to do M.com or MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees - 15000 pa, little high you can say if you compare with other DU colleges but it's normal if you financial is good Financial help is also available ..you just have to go to college and take to the management that's it.

Campus Life

Campus life is good, you enjoy allot Fest -Aaghaz, is the annual and superb fest of PGDAV. And a good platform for you to show your talent and shine Library - It's nice and all types of books and journals related to your course are available. Many sports activities are available and you can take part in sports like cricket, football, etc There are many societies like Tech Wiz(for technology) or Raaga (for music) and many more so you can take part and explore your passion.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

PGDAV is best in terms of facilities

Students often choose PGDAV College because of its affordable fees structure and as it is affiliated with University of Delhi. It also offers various undergraduate courses like bcom hons, BA, etc. It is located in south Delhi and has decent connectivity via public transportation. The cut offs are slightly lower than other colleges of north campus. Like most Colleges of DU, admission here is on the basis of merit but now according to New Education Policy it is based on Cuet scores. Du releases cut of list in several rounds, students who meet the criteria can apply for admission. After selecting the college students need to verify their documents by the college.
