Honest Review of IMT Nagpur

I got selected in most of the tier 2 colleges but I find IMTN best in terms of ROI and on other factors too. I attended my admission process at Mumbai. The admission team was so cordial and the entire process went so flawlessly.

I choose PGDM in finance due to my background in graduation. It suits my interest area. The student faculty ratio is 15:1 which is quite decent. All the faculty members are vastly educated with long industrial and academic experience.

Crisil, Jio creative labs, Fyndhere, Atraksi, Brands Impact, Venture Capital, PayU, Urban Company, Dainik Bhaskar and many more companies come on campus for the internships. Average stipend is 10,000 INR.

Students are eligible from 5th semester for campus placements. Crisil, Axis bank, HDFC Bank, Bain and Co., KPMG, Deloitte, Nielsen and many more companies came on campus and almost 90% of the senior is placed even in the pandemic. Average CTC is 7.9 LPA and highest CTC is 16 LPA.

There is a fee hike policy but due to pandemic the fess of batch 2019, 2020 and 2021 remains the same i.e., 12,10,000 INR. There are various scholarships that IMTN give to it students. The Mahindranath scholarship is given to the toppers of 1st year and it was started in the memories of the founder Late Shri Mahendranath Ji.

Campus life at IMT Nagpur is unforgettable. It is so true to say that 'IMT never sleeps'. We wake up in the morning, go to mess for food, attend classes till evening, then our committees, forums and clubs meeting goes on, activities goes on till midnight.

Hostel life is different and elated experience all together. Hostel and mess are clean, hygienic. It is a residential program so everyone lives on campus, students, faculty, non-teaching staff. The hostel fees is included in the fees only.

I attended my GD PI process in Mumbai. The process went seamlessly and the admission team was cordial. My GD topic was 'Negative effects of Demonetization'. I spoke 3-4 points in a panel of 7 students and we were given 10 minutes.
