Remarks
Motilal Nehru College is one of the finest colleges on the south campus. It has a lush green environment here and an average infrastructure. The admission procedure started in May for our batch. Some of my school seniors were already pursuing their graduation from this college so I was aware of all its pros and cons. I realized it was better than most colleges out there.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have a huge interest in banking so ever since high school, I wanted to pursue this course from Delhi university. Being a government college it has an average faculty-student ratio. The faculty is extremely helpful and well qualified here. They guide you with their past experiences and sometimes even offer help for personal issues as well. Exams were on time, everything used to be planned by the DU calendar. Exams were of moderate level.
Internships Opportunities
Around 35% of students got internships like mycaptain, Rotaract club, siksha, mygate internship group, and many more. Campus ambassador, graphic designer, social media marketing were the few majorly offered roles.
Placement Experience
MLNC has an active placement cell. Many companies visit here to offer internships as well as placements. Around 20% of students of my batchmates got placed with the lowest package being 1.2 lakh and the highest 3 lakh. I am looking forward to pursuing my interest in banking only.
Fees and Financial Aid
Motilal Nehru College is more on the easily affordable side. Being a government college, MLNC has very nominal fees. Even the people with low economy groups can afford it. There are few scholarships offered by the college in the form of student aid to help the students.
Campus Life
Department fests are organised by particular departments and the annual college fest happens in the month of February. They include fun activities and cultural events followed by star night, live performances. Seminars and sports activities are organised often.
