Remarks

Good teaching, great management and good college infrastructure. Along with academics there are a lot more opportunities for other activities and to prove ourselves other than academics. Admissions was through online mode. It was on merit based. Cut off percentage is 85.

Firstly I thought to chose nutrition but home science had different streams and it was more interesting. The student ratio was good enough. Teachers are highly qualified and senior teacher with more experience. They are friendly and support students very well Exams were conducted semester wise. It was moderate to difficult.

For our course there is no specific placements and more job opportunities. For courses like bcom and BCA and BBA there are good placements according to their merit. Like starting salary of 1.2 lakh per annum for bcom students as per my knowledge .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is affordable which is of 35k. There is scholarship for students with high results. As far I know there is no financial assistance. Students can enroll to internships available from the college.

Campus Life

There are a lot of fests like CUL week, ethnic say and more. Mainly the queen of fests CUL and it is extremely great fest I had ever experienced. It is generally conducted in the month of December's. It goes for 2 days and there are more than 50 events , wide range of students come across and participate . Library is available in college and there is good collection of books for all streams. There are 16 more associations for sports and extra curricular activities. There are many pages on Instagram like mcc nutrition and mcc student union etc.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.

I did apply to BHU and Delhi university and also Christ university. I did get accepted to Christ and the other i didn't make it. My reason for not going to Christ was only that I felt MCC would be a better choice for me in case of everything. The other colleges I didn't make were because of my CUET results and also few of them I did not even check as the results came out too late. The admission eligibility is just getting a 60% in your 12th and then an interview will be set up and if one gets selected they will recieve an email regarding so and then they need to pay the given fees. MCC - A college of Dreams

I applied in Christ University for a B.Sc. in Biotechnology but did not end up going to Christ when I heard about it's cons that it focuses more on its outer image rather than imparting quality knowledge.
