The environment here in the college is just awesome. The admission process is totally merit-based. You can apply here by your 12th result and gujcet score. After discussing with so many people I came to know that the faculties are also good and the extracurricular activities are also carried out here.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose mechanical engineering because I like the machines and how they operating. Here the faculty-student ratio is also good so that students can get the maximum knowledge out of them. Faculty members are highly qualified and they are kind when comes to teaching, they will be supporting you in your courses as well as in project also. Exams came at the mid of the semester and the toughness level is so that that you can have a check over how you have prepared and you can prepare better for the semester exam.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, you are eligible to make it for the college campus placements. Many big companies visit the college every year in every department. In mechanical engineering companies like Ford, Baosteel India Pvt Ltd visit the college. The average salary is around 4.5 LPA and the highest salary package that was offered was around 11.5 LPA. Around 60 to 65% of students got the placement every year. My plans after the completion of the college are to appear for the GATE examination and then apply for the placement
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the college are very nominal. The tuition fee is 1500 for the boys and 0 for the girls and if you have taken admission through this then you will not have to pay the tuition fees. There are different scholarships for which you can apply from the college itself. There are scholarships like digital Gujarat , etc.
Campus Life
The campus life at the college is one of the best moments of life and here at LD college of engineering, you will fill that. The campus is surrounded by so many trees. You will find a cricket stadium, football ground, tennis court and many more things at the college campus. The infrastructure is also very good. You can find books whichever you want from the library. Many techfest happen during the year in the college through them you can enhance many things in yourself. You can enhance the technical part as well as the extracurricular part. There are many clubs like LDCE alumni club,robocon club and many more.
