Remarks

1: The NIRF rank is 27, 2: fewer holidays, more study. 3: large lush green campus. 4: VNIT Nagpur is the best college after IIT Bombay in Maharashtra. 5: Placements is awesome 6: Easy to reach from all over India. 7: every year the rank updates, in 2019 the NIRF rank was 31 but in 2020 the rank is 27 also in 2021 it might get 24th rank. 8: Every facility for sports, extracurricular activities are provided. 9: seprate gym's for boys and girls . 10: the classroom is awesome. 11: Labs have every necessary and latest equipment for students of VNIT. 12: Many cultural activities, fests, technical activities are organised well. 13: Hostel facilities are good, mess food is awesome.

I had not selected BTech. In metallurgy and materials, engineering but my rank was like that, The student ratio is approx 3:1 (boys: girls) The faculty are very well qualified. There are 2-semester exams per year, each semester has 2 term exams i.e mid sem and end sem. For each there are practicals, viva for every subject, assignments are too much. Exams are medium to the hard pattern, depending according to study.

Course Fees: INR 128000 per year

Placement Experience

Companies like D.E.Shaw India Pvt. Ltd., AppDynamics India Pvt. Ltd., Goldman Sachs, Sling Media Pvt. Ltd., J.P.Morgan Services, L&T Group, Bajaj Auto, Box8, Lowe's India, Godrej Industries, BrahMos Aerospace, HPCL, Fidelity Investments, NXP Semiconductors and many more visits VNIT. Student's in the final year of BTech are eligible for campus placements (after their 7th sem). Cgpa must be approximately above 7.7 to get placements chances.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is descent 66.5 thousand per semester i.e about 1.32 lakhs per year. Therefore for 4 years of BTech in VNIT fees is 5 lakh approximately. For obc/sc/st/ PWD scholarship is provided according to net income of the family. But for sc/st there is no tuition fees .

Campus Life

Aarohi is a cultural fest annually, AXIS is a technical fest and CONSORTIUM is an entrepreneurship event. VNIT has a large library building where plenty of books are available for students. Every sport's facilities are provided professionally for students. Social groups are also there for helping needy people.

NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT.
