Best college in Howrah

This college is one of the few colleges in Howrah that offers a wide range of area. The admission process is very easy, faculty members are very experienced they help us a lot. They inspired us to do new things that's why they arrange many seminars for us, for that I prefer this college.

Chemical engineering offers you such a wide scope of industries to work with. We have a lot of faculty member, each core subject has a specialist. Exams are divided into 8 semesters, in mid of the semester we have internal exams also. If we attend the lectures properly we can pass the exam very easily.

Yes, our college offers internship opportunities, students are interned on campus or off campus. They were well trained during the training period. Berger paints is one the companies which offer an internship to our college.

4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit our college like Infosys, Himadri Chemicals, Exide batteries etc. 90% of students getting placements from our college. My plan after getting the degree is to get placement from our college and to do higher studies in polymer science.

On my time, admission fees were 55200 rs, and semester fees were 35500rs. There are many kinds of scholarship like Aikashree, Swami Vivekananda, OBC, SC, BIKASH BHAVAN etc scholarships are provided. In Aikashree if you get 50% marks you can apply for this scholarship.

There's a huge stock of books, we have a very big library. Semester by semester we got books from the library at the end of the semester we have to return them. If you want another book instead of a syllabus you also get by showing your library card with a time limit. Our college arrange sports program, we have many kinds of sports option like cricket, bat Minton, carom etc.
