I have chosen only Asansol Engineering College because I wanted to persue my career in Computer Science and Engineering, and Asansol Engineering College is one of the best in class college to persue your career in Computer Science. To get admission in CSE your WBJEE rank should be from 1- 15000. If you want to take admission through your JEE rank you must score atleast 90 percentile in JEEMAINS. And most important your overall PCM marks should be more than 75% in 12th boards to be eligible for admission. I have got admission to CSE on the basis of my wbjee rank. On the day of counseling I have selected my admission slot in the wbjee official website and paid my slot booking fees. After few days the college contacted me to visit their college and complete their admission process. Overall the admission process took less than a week and was quite smooth.

I have chosen this course because studying Computer Science enables you to theorize , develop and apply the software and hardware for the programmes we use day out. Such a creative field it is Studying computer engineering helps you widen your creative horizon and provide problems to the solutions that people haven't thought about yet. Our college strictly follows the AICTE guidelines and has a good student to faculty ratio of 1:20 As you all know in Engineering colleges the minimum qualification of each and every faculty must be a Masters degree. Therefore all the faculties in our college hold a master's degree or pursuing/ completed Ph.D. in their respective subjects.

Students especially have to apply for off campus internships and the most important thing to understand is that you will be doing the internship under the guidance of an AEC faculty. And the companies like Wipro , Paytm , Zomato come with internship opportunities for students . And the most of the students with technical knowledge and having programming skills can grab those internships easily.

The top recruiting companies in the tech fields are tcs, cognizant , infosys and Amazon. The highest salary package offered in our course is 14 lakh and the lowest salary package offered is 4.5 lakh and the average salary package offered is 6.41 lakh. Around 80-90% of the students in our college gets placed during the campus placements. My plan after getting the degree is to get a job under a good company.

Asansol engineering college is good option for cse students both in terms of fees and quality of education. Our college charges a minimal fees in overall four years of your course. And as we all know engineering or any other professional academics falls heavy on your bank balances. The tech fest organized by our college is one of the most popular tech fests in all over India. Students from top colleges like IITs , IIITs , IEM, Techno India come with their projects to showcase in the tech fest. Our college highly prioritises sports activities and fitness. As participating in sports activities helps in encouraging you to improve your body fitness . Tournaments are held every month and thousands of students participate in them. There are more than hundres of social group run by the senior and junior students including faculty members . The vision of these groups are to help the needy and participate in social works.
