Remarks
Good: there's a huge populous of students interested in co-curricular activities and are open to a student tapping into many activities at once to gain experience and meet like-minded people. The professors are well qualified and experienced, they encourage us for further internships and short studies to give us the needed experience for real-world problems. The campus has exquisite greenery which gives anybody the impression of a well-reputed and established college. It also hosts a number of state of the art fests for the students for various programs to have memorable times. Bad: the college doesn't emphasize many sports or any such programs. Admission process: I was admitted through the COMEDK process which has its counselling dates usually in the first two weeks of July. Reason of preference: DSCE college has had a record and reputation of placing students into the top companies suited with the latest knowledge of your particular industry.
Course Curriculum Overview
The chosen program for my 2019 bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications. I chose this course because of the ever-growing scope of electronics and hardware tech and this course allows me to dive deeper into the world of electronics to keep me interested. For every 20 students, there is a professor that is assigned to them, they're well-qualified and well-spoken and try to make the student's college life easier. Almost all the professors are qualified with a Master's degree and are well-versed in the particular programs they teach. Exams are monthly which are called internals and then we're supposed to write the Semester end exam which concludes that semester.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible at the 6th semester for placements, which also depends on the placement officer. Students are placed in many companies such as Oracle, Texas Instruments, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, etc. The highest package is 15 lakhs per anum, the average salary would be around 4 lakh per anum. 80% of students get placed through college. Going to the US for further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees metric seems just about okay with the facilities they provide for us I guess one could say it's fine. There also seems to be an increase in the fees during the Covid-19 pandemic and they didn't offer the option of instalments too. No scholarship, Financial assistance and job as of now due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Campus Life
Our annual fest's name is Furore and they are usually conducted in the month of March. There's plenty of books and journals available in all kinds of genres for the betterment, knowledge and wisdom of the child. The classes are well furnished and maintained and are comfortable to be seated for education. There are hardly any sports events, the college doesn't emphasize much on football events for the college football team, the selections for the football team are held only once. Hence not giving an opportunity to other students. In terms o sports the college doesn't seem to give importance but in terms of extracurricular activities, the college is active and encourages the student(s) to tap into various fields and niches. They also send students to other colleges for various competitions. There are many clubs in the college, the seniors are very supportive of you getting into any clubs, you can join various clubs, they hold meetings and competitions within ourselves often.
