Remarks

Good: 1. The faculty was well versed in their subject. 2. Clean college Environment 3. Large hostel size for people (like myself) who are not from Maharashtra 4. A 6-floor 24X7 library Bad: 1. Hostel Mess does not provide good quality food 2. Lack of greener.According to the score obtained in Jee, this college seemed like the best choice as I am from Uttar Pradesh and I wanted a college that has a hostel facility, a bank, eating outlets(24x7) and most important Well versed faculty. How I came across this college: through an alumni of this college

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Mechanical Engineering is an evergreen branch and helps one gain knowledge of all the other engineering backgrounds. This college has a student guardian program in which each faculty has to take at least 20 students under their hood to see whether each student is attending the classes or not or in some kind of distress. Every faculty had a PhD in their respective subjects and those who didn't have were pursuing theirs whilst teaching in the college. Most of the teachers teach through PowerPoint Presentations and give assignments after the completion of a chapter. Our exams were divided into 2 parts: for 1st and 2nd year: Online(50 marks, college evaluation) + offline (50 marks, University evaluation) for 3rd and 4th year: Offline: 30(internal evaluation) + 70 (University Evaluation)

Placement Experience

2.5

College placements: 1. Students are eligible after the 6th semester for placements 2. most of the students eligible for campus placements get a CTC in between 2.5L - 5L per annum Name of companies Visited: there are more than 100+ companies that visit the college with some of the biggest MNCs of the companies like Accenture, Infosys, Byjus, etc. 3. Most of the students go for further studies, but still the placements id above 50%

Fees and Financial Aid

For general category: 88000 (hike according to the AICTE policy) for OBC category (non-creamy layer): 45000 (not sure) for SC/ST: 1500-1800 .The only financial assistance one can get is in the form of fees due to date extension and if there are other problems then the college does not put pester oneself to pay fees at once.

Campus Life

3

Karandak and Techtonic, both being one of the largest in the state. During my time in the college international stars like Jay Sean, Chainsmokers and W&W performed at our annual concert in Karandak. This college has a 24X7, 6-floor library with over 50000+ books and journals. Naturally well-lit classrooms with ample air ventilation whiteboards and projectors. This institute has one of the largest sports grounds in the city of Pune. sports like cricket, football, badminton, and table tennis are promoted, not only at intercollege level but also state level.

Hostel Facilities

4

Facilities inside the room: 1. The hostel rooms are four sharing room with attached bathrooms and toilets. 2. For every student there is a shelf for keeping books, bags and clothes. 3. if a student wants he/she can bring small almirahs and induction for personal use. Meal Quality: the quality of food provided in the hostel mess is well below the good food mark. Registration Process: 1. Once one takes his admission in the college will guide through the easy hostel admission process.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
