Remarks

I chose Jamia because it has a better reputation and the fees were also very less, and apart from this, the campus is very vast and peaceful with state-of-the-art buildings and libraries, It has produced some notable alumni. There is an entrance exam to qualify for the college held in the month of May. I got to know about this college online from the college Dunia site only. The entrance exam holds a high quota for Mohammaden students. This college has large spots grounds and overall every facility that a student needs.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

because I was a commerce student in school so I chose the bachelor of commerce degree. Most of my friends were also Doing Bcom after inter so that was also a point and BCom offers a vast variety of options to choose from after passing out. the student to faculty ratio was 60:1. The faculty was very well qualified and had a deep and thorough knowledge of their subjects, their teaching method was also very easy and convenient. So there are no complaints in the department of faculty and education. top class faculty and top-class education. There were two major exams in a year designed semester-wise. The difficulty of the exams was moderate if prepared for it wisely and teachers did distribute notes before the exams so that was a major help.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards, Some of the companies visiting for campus placement are Aon, EY, Asian paints, MyOperator, The average campus placements range from 5-6 lakh, ALmost 80 percent of the students are able to procure the campus placement. My plans after BCom was to study further and do my MBA, which I did from the same college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees were never hiked in three years of my graduation, so in 5000 I was able to complete three years of my graduation. The scholarship is also provided to the top 3 percentage of the class and up to 80-100 percent of scholarships to exceptional students. So on the topic of fees, Jamia Milia Islamia is best compared to every other college in Delhi, and mainly because it is a government college.

Campus Life

5

There are various fest and events throughout the year in the college ranging from freshers,m farewells, cultural events, annual fests, sporting events, talent competitions and other courses particular events which are really fun and engaging calling famous celebrities and holding their events is really captivating. the library is best with all up-to-date books and journals, It is a four-floor library building which holds almost and everything, fully equipped computers, and everything. The sports grounds and stadiums are top class with national level grounds producing international level athletes. There are various clubs in college like the dance and drama society, NCC, NSS, maths club, etc.

Interview Experience

4

There is no Group discussion round or Interview during admission but there is this entrance test which is of hundred percent weightage, so admission is taken solely on this basis, The entrance test was MCQ objective comprising of general reasoning and questions related to subjects like maths accounts, statistics, and economics. It wasn't very hard but if you arent Mohamaden then you to come in the top 20 percent of the class to secure your admission. I prepared from my general class 12th books and then there is this book designed specially to clear the entrance test of Jamia milia Islamia called 'Entrance test Jamia'.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
