Gnit Infrastructure is good, Faculty is good, Bank is inside Campus. Management focused on making money, Electrical practical equipment in labs doesn't work properly. The admission process for B.Tech is simple, just submitted all documents and fill the online form there inside the campus and pay semester fees in advance through Demand Draft at that time, from inside campus SBI bank. College is Aicte approved, at a great location. www.gnit.ac.in
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I have deep interest in that field and also heard this college is good for this course. In my class, there are 60 students per teacher, but in practical 30 students at one subject practical and 30 were another subject along with that there are mini-groups like 5 students per group for that particular subject practical. Exams were like there was a total of 8 semesters along with practicals. And also there was two unit test for internal marks per semester. Semester, if you read carefully in class, you will able to solve all questions.
Placement Experience
After 3rd Year students are eligible to sit for placements. Most companies visited the campus are core for CSE/IT branch means...coding knowledge must. Many companies like ITC Infotech, TCS, Cognigent..etc.. I'm looking for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total cost of study for B.tech Rs.406400 and in the First semester I have paid like around Rs. 86200/- and then later 44000/ semester and there is an increment of 1000 per year. The scholarship is applicable only for domicile students of west Bengal.
Campus Life
"Zyzzva" the annual cultural fest and "Tesseract" technical fest of Gnit organized every year. In the library almost every book I have found which i required. Classroom amenities are also good. Many sports competition is organized every year inside campus-like, football, cricket, badminton etc. Many social groups are there, recently open space club of gnit.
