Communev internship

I have given the NIFT EXAM but I was more interested in technical skills so I enrolled in UEM Kolkata for computer science and engineering. The university of engineering and management Kolkata is a private college and is located in new town Kolkata beside kari gari bhawan, as the iem campus and uem campus are together, so the admission took place in the ashram building salt lake sector 3. The admission process is 12+ education and should have valid JEE or WBJEE rank and also you should have 60% above marks in 12th boards and the age of the student should be 17+. I gave the JEE entrance exam and through my rank I applied for the course , there was no counseling day for admission

I chose this course as I pursued computer science in my 12th board and also I'm aware of the c programming language and java so I wanted to master all of them thoroughly. The faculty-student ratio in our college is 1:25, the professors are well qualified and they are very friendly and always try to clarify the doubts of students The professors are well qualified and have great teaching methods ,they teach in a very effective manner they conduct regular class tests for the assessment of students. Our college has 2 semesters each year. The first semester exam is conducted in December and the second semester exam is conducted in May. The college also conducts practicals and viva for each subject and they also provide complete notes which are really helpful. The difficulty level is medium to hard. The students having complete notes and attending classes regularly can easily pass the examination

The UEM KOLKATA provides various opportunities for internships for reputed organizations and companies and the placement cell provides training classes every week for the campus recruitment process. Through these internship programs, students gain a lot of work experience side by side getting a stipend for their hard work. I am currently in the 6th semester currently, so I don't have much experience in internships.

The students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester onward. The companies which come for hiring students are IBM, WIPRO, TCS, BYJUS. Students also get opportunities for sitting in pool campusing for various MNCs. The highest package was 35 LPA and the average package is 4.2 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed in good percentage is 95 percent I aspire to work for a good MNC and learn throughout my professional career.

The course fee is quite affordable for the students and the course per year is 120000 INR and the mode of payment is through cash payment or cheque also and registration fee for each semester examination is 1000 INR The college provides the opportunity to the student for getting scholarships, whoever scores well in the INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION is given a scholarship. The college gets hiring offers from companies COGNIZANT, TCS, WIPRO on campus. The percentage of students getting placed every year is 75 percent. The college tries its best to invite more and more companies for hiring their students. Students securing the above percentages are applicable to fill the UEM scholarship form. The final decision of granting scholarship is upon the scholarship committee.

The college conducts an annual fest in the month of January. The fest conducts various quiz competitions and singing and dancing competitions. The college also celebrates various sports events which include cricket, basketball. The college has a huge library with 3012 books which include the course books and extra questions banks and reference books. The classroom is quite big with big windows for natural light sources and wind and it has a well-designed table, benches, and boards. The college also has various laboratories according to the department such as physics lab, electrical lab, programming lab. The college has its own workshop for automobile and mechanical students. The college has a basketball and football court in the basement area.

UEM has no hostel on campus but they do provide hostels near the campus. University of Engineering and Management Kolkata provides hostels for both boys and girls. The hostels also have the facility of canteens. The canteens serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine to the students.

Our topic was cbdc. ‘Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)’ is just a digital version of currency. India’s CBDC will be the digital version of the rupee, China’s will be the digital version of the yuan, etc. A few years ago, cryptocurrencies were launched. They have a lot of advantages over physical currencies. But they are unregulated and have several other loopholes. So, to take advantage of blockchain technology, (the technology behind cryptocurrencies), several countries are working on launching their own state-issued digital currencies.
