Remarks

Good Aspects of PGDAV COLLEGE are that it has the Biggest Canteen In Delhi University providing hygienic food at affordable rates, nearby metro station, classrooms are well maintained, a huge playground for sports activities, Teaching faculty is too great. PGDAV COLLEGE has an active placement cell. Some bad aspects are the poor infrastructure. The admission process was very smooth, we have to log in to the portal and put our all correct details, select the course and college, and apply for it....and you are done. The College replies within 1-2 working days and approves our application....after that, we have to pay the fees online. And your admission is confirmed Pgdav College's Site= www.pgdavcollege.edu.in The College gives all the important updates on this site.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because I had a great interest in finance, accounts, and business. Also, you can get high placements if doing Bcom Hons. This College has a great Commerce Department. The Teaching Faculty is highly qualified and very much experienced. They listen to our doubts very politely and try their best to get our doubts solved. In short, teachers are very helpful There are around 60 students in my class and teachers give equal amount of time to every student even in the online classes. I am a first year student and I recently gave my 1st semester exams which were in OBE Mode due to the pandemic and it was not that much difficult to pass the exam. If the student is well prepared, he/she can easily pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Our College offers many Internship opportunities in many companies such as TalentServe, HomeFlic We Grow, Urban Company etc Mainly the roles we get is to sell their various courses, or to refer more people to join their company, brief about their company to others.....they train us with the best The Selection process is simple we just have to give a telephonic interview where they ask us about the basic details

Placement Experience

4.5

As I said the Placement Cell of PGDAV COLLEGE is very active and brings out number of placement opportunities to the students. They always try their level best to get the best companies for their college students Students are eligible for the placements in the third year only....First-Year Students avail internship opportunities on their own Companies like Wipro, Deloitte, EY, Amazon, etc. visited for campus placements. No. Of offers made gets fluctuate every year....there are no fixed numbers The highest Package goes around 700000 per annum And the Average Package around 280000per annum Around 60%of students get placements every year. I am planning to do MBA after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The First Year Fees of this College of My Course are Rs.13900 per year(including examination fees)... which is affordable for me and many others ....there are no fees hike policy in the college The College's Placement Cell is Very Active and provides an endless number of internships

Campus Life

5

I didn't go to my college the whole year due to the pandemic( COVID-19)I visited my campus only once to submit some documents. Rest of the time I only had online classes Talking about the annual fest of our College which is Aaghaaz, which takes place in the month of February. There is almost every book available in the College Library. The College provides the best amenities in the classrooms as they can except AC....The Classrooms are well maintained having proper hygiene.... Our College is famous for sports.....Sports such as Cricket, Football, Volleyball etc happens in the college and students take parts in many competitions.... There are many college societies or groups are runned by the students in our College You can join the society like NSS and NCC which will help you in future... Kaizen- The Career Counselling Club is also runned for the students which guide the students for their career.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
