Remarks

Admission procees is very lenthy, and i use quota (obc) for admission in pgdav college evening ,for admission best four mark is up to 85% and i got 88% in 5th cutoff, and in the last interview is good .

Course Curriculum Overview

Because my background in 12 was commerce that's why i choose bcom hons , teaching faculity was very good and faculity is also good if i talk about exams all the exams are tough we have to study hard.Student ration in each section is 70 to 80.

The companies were coming are deloite tcs lic tata and they offered many more roles like finance analays data management data entry and stipent was kike 30k 20k 25k We have a project name yogdan in this we go to slum areas and gave foods cloths to them

Placement Experience

From semester 5th students were eligible for placemet and campus selction and one of college mate was got a package of 12 laks and tata offered him . He got 9.2 sgpa overall . And when i talk about my plan is that when i got ky degree completed i am going for ca and cma these all are professional courses .

Fees and Financial Aid

If we discuss about fees hike as compare to other colleges it is little bit high like 14000, in another colleges is like 8k 9k . In internship many companies was come like tcs, deloite,lic and many more and i got internship in deloite and my stipend is 17k for 2 months

Campus Life

The fest was very good and i also a member of our college dest name as falak , and all the books were in the library and the condition of our library was amazed, all the sports were in the college like cricket hockey basket ball kabadi and manymore and i am a player of our college cricket team and there were more socities like commerce association rotaratct and many more i am a member of rotaract these all are social grops

Interview Experience

No there were nothing like this ,i have a small interview only like where r u from and father occupation. And questions from my subject like economics accountings and laws. First i very my merit than after these all the docouments were checked than a interview was taken by teachers after this i fill the form of library cards and indentiy card and than i have paid the fees online

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

PGDAV is best in terms of facilities

Students often choose PGDAV College because of its affordable fees structure and as it is affiliated with University of Delhi. It also offers various undergraduate courses like bcom hons, BA, etc. It is located in south Delhi and has decent connectivity via public transportation. The cut offs are slightly lower than other colleges of north campus. Like most Colleges of DU, admission here is on the basis of merit but now according to New Education Policy it is based on Cuet scores.
