Poornima University - Review

1. I applied for Delhi university and I got selected in South campus in colleges such as Motilal Nehru , satyawati college . In Poornima University I found good environment away from noise and pollution with very beautiful campus and a good life . 2. Admission process , there were three phases in which a student can take admission in order to avail scholarship and in that particular phase different criteria for scholarships. So I took admission on 23 July and availed 45% scholarship. 3. The counselling process was very smooth , I was guided by the tutors and within an hour I got the admission. The faculty were very helpful and guided me through out the process and cleared all my doubt.

1. I am interested in business and management and being from a business type of family , I wanted to go into this field so I chose BBA. 2. There were 8 subjects in 1 semester so 8 tutors were there and at a time , students in a class were about 50 so 1 teacher at a time for 50 students. 3. All the staff member were qualified with great achievements and were experienced in their respective field . Teaching methods were different and varied with teacher to teacher. 4. Exams were divide into 4 parts CIE 1 , MSE , CIE 2 AND ESE . Exam were practical as well as theorytical . If a student has paid attention to class he/she can qualify exams with good marks.

In my internship period I was in Thrillophilia a travel company which is in top 10 travel company. My role is digital marketing intern working for SEO . Currently I am interning with them and I am learning a lot about how a company works . Stipend is 7000 per month.

In 5th semester students become eligible for placements. Companies like Microsoft, IBM and much more Highest package offered in BBA was 8lakh/annum . Students percentage is around 80%. My plan is to do MBA from a good college.

Fees of my program is 60,000 include two sections - development fees is 15000 and tuition fees is 45000 . There were enrollment fees , activity fees , uniform fees and no hike in fees . Fee remains constant throughout the 3 year. I got 45% scholarship on the base of grade and date of joining in 3rd phase. The scholarship is availed on tuition fees so I paid around 40000 for one year . There were many opportunities for internships and I am about to go for placement and many good companies comes to our college.

Annual fest is Lakshay which is a very grand function of sports , technical and cultural programs. Lakshay is of 4 days with games and technical in day and dj night , band night and celebrity night. Many other programs also held through out the year. A huge library with availability of every type of books. Sports include American football , basketball, volleyball , tennis , and much more.

In my first year I was in hostel and in my second year I was in a PG . Very easy registration process. Meal is good in PG but in hostel it was ok. PG location - Pratap Nagar Jaipur. Facilities in hostel room -ac duct , bathroom , almirah, study table , purified drinking water. In PG , a garden , room with 2 bathroom and washrooms , coolers , wardrobe , study table.
