Remarks

The college is in Borivali closer to the sub-urbs so lesser travel. The admission is mostly based on cap rounds there is an institute quota also minority quota for Christians. Once the college is allotted to you, can make the payment and you are in the college . I choose this college coz it was ranked third on the list of private colleges under MU.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum in the 1st year is almost the same as ur 12th with a few more subjects that might give you a kt if u aren't alert. most of ur 1st year won't give u any technical knowledge that u would use later in ur career but the faculty is good some must be old slow n redundant, the faculties are qualified enough but not every faculty is very efficient in teaching. It's mostly on ur preference

Internships Opportunities

2

Well u have to look for internships urself, the college might send all emails about internship opportunities n training programs that are paid but u have to look for internships for urself. The college doesn't give special internship ticket but it gives some free workshops to develop skills.

Placement Experience

3

I think they started placements from 6th sem but since covid, I m hoping they might start from 7th or 8th in the final year when I entered College the highest package was of 10 lakh companies like byjus, Amazon, tata were on the hiring list board as I saw, about 90% was the placement rate not sure, I m planning to get a job through college placements get some experience and then apply for better jobs if not satisfied.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure is like 90,000 as tuition fees and the rest for other facilities, u can have a scholarship from mahadbt portal based on the eligibility criteria, The most benefit is from the ebc scholarship for the economically backward class where u can get back 50%of ur tuition fee back, about placements, the highest package was of 10 L when I joined in 2018.

Campus Life

3

There's the iris annual fest. Pragati as the tech event and sports area has small courts for badminton basketball n football also there's a room for indoor games like table tennis carrom and chess well the 1st year classrooms have ac but as I went to 2nd year we didn't have that upgrade, there are small lockers in the classroom for basic stuff u have to bring ur to own lock tho, well there are many discord servers and Instagram pages run by the college committees the most active one must be the CSI sfit server on discord they been conducting online gaming events lately.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I don't stay in the hostel but my friends do and I didn't hear them complaining, also the mess I used to visit there served decent food with a variety like Chinese fried rice, Tripple rice, biryani also basic meals with bhaji n roti is available in the menu.

Interview Experience

2.5

There wasn't any gd or interview instead, there's a joint entrance exam u have to appear or Maharashtra cet these exams are MCQ based on subjects maths physics and chemistry the total score determines ur rank n the chances of getting ur desired college are EZ if u have a good score once the college is allotted u in cap rounds have to submit the documents and do the full annual payment, the process is centralized.

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.
