Get your experiences Enhanced by adding Practical learning

I,Applied for Sharda University, Manav Rachna University and IP University. Didn't opted for Manav Rachna University because of the location factor and bad reviews regarding placement and training and didn't gone for IP University because I wasn't able to appear for entrance exam because of covid. No I didn't took admission under any quota. Minimum 50% marks in graduation and qualifying entrance exam and PI. Admission process included CET of 120 marks and after qualiying in CET a round of Personal interview was held.

I chose this course because I had keen interest in working for Radio Station. Faculty Ration is approx 20:1 here but yes students can receive good learning as faculties aim at delivering personal assistance to every student as individual level. Most of the faculties here are PhD holders and are very well versed with teaching skills. Exams were not so tough for the ones who believe in learning and were the toughest for ones who don't pay importance to learning.

Don't have knowledge regarding this. Various community projects are run by the college which helps students to enhance thier Practical skills. Student also get chance to showcase their talent through Media Fests organized in the University.

After 3rd Semester students become capable of campus placements. Don't have knowledge regarding this as I haven't participated in Campus Placement yet. 70%of students are able to avail placements. Want to work in a community radio station.

Fees is slightly high as compared to other universities but that too has its own reasons. Huge investment is made on laboratories and lab essentials. Fully equipped with well functioning and high quality cameras, recoding devides and radio station devices.

Not such fest took place took place because of Covid Pandemic. University is having its own newly constructed Central Library with wide range of books and journals. Classroom amenities includes Centralized Air-conditioners, Projectors, Display boards, well maintained chairs and desks. Various extra curricular activities are held for eg. Drama, Radio Recording, Community workshops etc. Department is running its own monthly newsletter that is maintained by students.

Topics discussed in PI were usually related to reason behind opting this course, specialised intrest, past experiences, past leanings, future plans related with carrier. Did some reasoning and General Aptitude practice before attempting CET and even studied some basic history of journalism and mass communication.
